Role Overview

• Equity Investment Bank is seeking a high-performing individual with advanced data analytics capabilities, business acumen, and strong communication skills to support the Managing Director in driving strategic initiatives, performance tracking, and executive decision-making.
• The Analyst – office of the MD, will work closely with the Managing Director, providing in-depth data analysis, developing executive-level reports and presentations, and offering insights that inform business direction. This is a high-visibility role suitable for a driven and analytical team member who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Performance Analytics

• Analyze internal business performance data to track KPIs and generate actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards and business performance trackers.
• Consolidate reports from various departments into unified executive summaries.

Executive Presentations & Strategic Communication

• Prepare high-quality decks and strategy presentations.
• Translate complex data and ideas into clear, compelling visual presentations.
• Support the MD in planning and communicating strategic priorities.

Project & Initiative Support

• Provide analytical and coordination support for strategic initiatives.
• Monitor progress of high-priority projects and assist in executive-level reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs, verify data, and align insights.

Research & Business Intelligence

• Conduct market, competitor, and regulatory research to inform executive decisions.
• Track emerging trends and provide briefings on risks and opportunities.
• Support scenario modeling and forecasting for key business initiatives.

 Qualifications

 Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI or Tableau, SQL, and PowerPoint.
• Experience preparing presentations for executive or board-level stakeholders is essential.

Job Purpose

• The Backend Developer will be responsible for building scalable RESTful APIs, managing server-side application  logic, and integrating with internal and external systems tsupport seamless data flow and functionality across  the platform.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient RESTful APIs in C#.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Design and implement data storage solutions.
• Work with frontend and mobile app developers tdefine API specifications.
• Collaborate with frontend engineering teams tensure seamless integration and reliable user  experiences.
• Manage tools and processes for handling analytics data and evaluating user experience quality.
• Participate in sprint planning and track work items effectively.
• Ensure the backend supports business goals through effective strategy, planning, and execution.

 Qualifications

 Essential Knowledge & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or  a related field.

Experience

• 2+ years developing applications in C#.
• 2+ years in ASP.NET Core.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP web services.
• Solid experience with SQL Server, Oracle Database, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT tokens, and API Management solutions.
• Understanding of Microservice Architecture, gRPC, and Kafka.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
