    Agency Support Specialist

    The Position:

    The IT Digital Channels Unit, within the Banking Systems Operations Department, is charged with the responsibility of Support, and Technical Operations, of the Digital Channels, and Middleware Systems within the Bank. The unit supports the Digital Banking in the areas of Mobile Banking, Card systems and Merchant Acquiring, Agent Banking, Internet Banking and International Money Transfers (Both branch based and Digital IMTs).

    The primary role of the Agency Support Specialist is to lead and coordinate the banks Agency and other emerging channels initiatives. The Specialists must demonstrate a strong understanding of and high regard for the Digital channels – Agency and other emerging channels – as a business delivery channel for the Bank's corporate and retail customers as well as for online merchant services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support for existing Agency, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Middleware Applications and support implementation of related projects.
    • Provide first level IT training and support to users in addition to keeping track of user issues and oversee their prompt resolution.

    Access Management Engineer

    The Position: 

    Technology Service Delivery is responsible for managing the delivery, performance, supply chain of IT services and enterprise applications to provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business objectives and customer (internal/external) expectations.

    The Access Management Engineer is responsible in managing the identities, provisioning and deprovisioning of access rights of people within the organization. The individual shall be liable for managing day to day incidents and user’s support requests and ensuring that customer requests for access and profiles are completed in a timely manner. He/she shall also provide 1st level support for the different bank applications.     Key Responsibilities:

    Senior Manager Strategy, Planning & Communication

    The Position:

    The Senior Manager Strategy, Planning and Communications, in collaboration with the Head of Architecture and Governance, will be responsible for translating the GCTO’s technology vision and strategy into a repository of artefacts that will serve as a living strategy document of the Technology Division.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support & coordinate the formulation of technology strategy, in line with the strategic objectives directed by the Group CTO and, in response to the overarching KCB Group Strategy – in collaboration with Head of Architecture and Governance.

    Manager Vooma

    The Position:

    Manager Cloud Infrastructure

    The Position:

    Technology Infrastructure department oversees planning, deployment and operation of state-of-the-art infrastructure services that include server, storage, network, databases, and Cloud that support mission critical services for the Bank.

    The position holder will be accountable for planning and operations of cloud infrastructure that is composed of on-premises and on cloud container management platforms to support digital services.

    Head Banking System Operations

    The Position:

    The Head of Banking System Operations’ primarily role is to manage the operations and second level support for the entire application portfolio of the bank. The primary purpose is to manage the bank’s applications to ensure key operational KPI’s including availability, customer service levels, headline capacity, CES, NPS and RMS are met and exceeded, while achieving an optimal operational cost profile. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prioritizing, monitoring, and planning control activities related to the bank’s application portfolio in coordination with internal and external audit teams.

    Head, Financial Control

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is responsible for managing the Group monthly financial reporting processes, preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, regulatory reporting in line with prudential guidelines and other regulatory requirements (Companies act, NSE & CMA), and fixed assets management. They ensure that robust controls are maintained around the internal models to provide assurance on the accuracy and completeness of the bank’s financial statements.

    Solution Architect

    The Position: 

    The role holder will be responsible for the Enterprise Architecture (technical, systems, business & information architecture) of Technology systems used by or to be procured by the Bank. He/She will ensure that all Technology Systems are aligned to the Enterprise Architecture Framework, Bank policy and best practice. In addition, he/she will be responsible for the secretariat of the Technology Governance Council which reviews all Technology systems used by or to be procured to ensure they are aligned to the Bank and Technology strategy, plans, policies, and standards.
