    Clinical Officer (Nairobi)

    JOB PURPOSE

    The clinical officer will be a member of the LVCT Health clinical team with the role of providing HIV/AIDS and related treatment services to all patients and clients. The clinical officer will ensure that the optimal standard of care is achieved in the LVCT Health HIV clinic and other outreach services to ensure quality in service provision in line with national guidelines, patient satisfaction and good clinical outcomes.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Diploma in Clinical Medicine/Surgery from a recognized Medical College.
    • A registered member with the clinical officer’s council.
    • At least three (3) years’ work experience in a busy Comprehensive Care Clinic or relevant sector.
    • Must be trained in Adult and Pediatric ART from National Aids control council (NASCOP) Kenya.
    • Good understanding of HIV in Kenya environment.
    • Experience in working with the Government of Kenya guidelines, standards, tools and best practices.
    • Good data management and report writing skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in clinical mentorship or support supervision in MOH settings will be an added advantage.
    • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or any other source

    DREAMS Data Officers – Homabay/Migori

    DO/LVCT/10/2020

    JOB PURPOSE

    To provide organizational support in development of monitoring and evaluation plans and frameworks for various LVCT programs and activities, development and operationalization of data collection, aggregation and reporting tools. S/He will also be responsible for data entry, verification and analysis of programs routine and periodic data.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Health Records/Health Management Systems/Computer Science/Maths or any relevant course.
    • At least 4years’ experience in DREAMS or OVC settings.
    • Training and experience in database management and statistical packages such as SPSS, Nvivo, Excel, Access.
    • Experience in implementing programmes and working with EMRs will be an added advantage.
    • Demonstrated analysis, communication, interpersonal, report writing and presentation skills.
    • Proactive, creative, systematic thinker and problem-solver.

    DREAMS Program Assistant – Nairobi

    JOB PURPOSE

    To provide overall leadership and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the DREAMS program at the implementation site. S/He should ensure that LVCT Health interests and programmes are represented in local and sub-county stakeholders’ meetings.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development/Humanities and Social Sciences.
    • 4 years’ experience in managing large cohorts of AGYW preferably in DREAMS or OVC settings.
    • Ability to provide mentorship and develop team capacity.
    • Excellent report writing, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good Computer usage skills.
