    Sales & Marketing Manager

    We are an upcoming E-commerce platform in the FMCG space, looking for a creative, competent Sales and Marketing Manager with route to market experience and channel sales management to join our team.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for developing and effectively implementing marketing activities for the brand
    • Develop E-commerce sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets
    • Go-to-market channel management/ market penetration strategy.
    • Providing regular budget allocation updates to the General Manager
    • Preparation of weekly sales reports and analysis for review by the General Manager

    • Become immersed and educated in all of the company’s categories, brands and licensed products
    • Conduct extensive online research, at all times understanding marketing and sales strategies from all major ecommerce retailers
    • Actively participate in scheduled internal weekly and regular sales meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant and beneficial information
    • Collaborate with your sales peers, design teams and management to ensure that you are offering the very best assortment to the customer

    Qualifications and key competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a business related field from a recognized institution
    • Ability to apply critical thinking and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and approaches to arising problems
    • 5 or more years’ experience in brand development and project management, digital marketing in E-commerce and Routes to Market (RTM) strategies
    • Exceptional time management skills; ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with overlapping goals and objectives
    • Ability to influence and interact with senior management
    • Excellent report writing and presentation skills

    General Manager

    We are an upcoming E-commerce platform in the FMCG space, seeking to engage a dynamic individual for General Manager to join our team in transforming the FMCG, E-Commerce space.

    Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Managing Director, the overall responsibility is to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs for each business unit.

    The General Manager will be responsible for providing effective strategic leadership and direction to the management team with a view to effectively realizing the mandate of the organization.


    • Oversight and supervision of all departments within the prganisation.
    • Providing leadership and vision to the organization through the development of long term and annual plans.
    • Overseeing the formulation and evaluation of the long range and annual business plans to ensure they are effective in enabling the organization achieve its business objectives.

    • Stakeholder Management:
      • Optimizing returns to shareholders through operational growth and effective capital management.
      • Undertaking regular and appropriate Financial/Investment management and reporting to the board of directors on the performance of the Company.
    • Financial and Business Health:
      • Overseeing preparation and approval of budgets.
      • Monitoring of cashflows and budgetary allocations.
      • Ensuring the business meets the set profitability and growth targets.
      • To ensure prudent management of resources for the achievement of the Company’s mandate and strategic objectives.

    Qualifications and key competencies

    • A degree in any field but with genuine interest in consumers and customers;
    • FMCG background will be a distinct advantage;
    • 7 years’ experience in sales, marketing or business with at least 2 years in general management.
    • Excellent project management skills, study or certification.
    • Good financial management and reporting experience.
    • Demonstrated record of revenue and profit growth and new business development experience.
    • Strong commercial attitude with the ability to think strategically.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven capability to provide useful insights and pragmatic solutions to business challenges.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, team leadership and delegation skills.
    • Excellent report writing skills

    Supply Chain Manager

    We are an upcoming E-commerce platform in the FMCG space, looking for a reliable Supply Chain Manager, responsible for the overall supply chain management. The manager’s responsibilities will include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.


    • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
    • Stock management and financial reconciliation of stock
    • Develop and improve standard operating practices and process flows for sourcing, loading, picking model stock and housekeeping.
    • Manage the overall supply chain budget
    • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
    • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
    • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
    • Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
    • Resolve any arising problems or complaints from supply chain stakeholders
    • Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
    • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
    • Development of market zoning and target pricing strategies to meet customer needs
    • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
    • Comply with laws, regulations

    Qualifications and key competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a business related field. Supply chain CPIM,CPSM or CSCP certification is an added advantage
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain, preferably in an FMCG environment and 3 years at leadership level
    • Experience in automated logistics and business software systems
    • Record of successful distribution and logistics management
    • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
    • Proficient in standard logistics software
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
