    Events Coordinator

    About the Role

    We are looking to hire an aggressive hands on events coordinator who will be responsible for designing, coordinating, managing and selling event ideas and solutions to our clients. 

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Client acquisition with a bias towards B2B sales
    • Researching markets and conduct industry analysis to identify opportunities for events.
    • Aggressively look for business through arranging meetings with potential clients, cold calling, social media marketing and networking
    • Manage and develop existing client relationships
    • Conceptualization of Events for B2B clients including producing detailed proposals.
    • Planning and management of logistics necessary to deliver stress-free client experience.
    • Provide world-class customer service; collect customer feedback and maintain above 90% customer satisfaction per quarter
    • Develop and operationalise event design concepts based on client needs and input
    • Bid for tenders and new events by writing detailed proposals to the relevant entities

     Qualifications

    1. A can do attitude - Show us you can!
    2. Minimum Diploma in any field from a recognized institution
    3. 2 years cumulative work experience in Events or Sales (non-FMCG)
    4. Willingness to live in a tent for up to 3 weeks at a time

    3. Outstanding communication skills & negotiating ability

    Digital Marketing, Inbound Sales and ICT Support

    This role is based within the Marketing department reporting to the CEO.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Digital Marketing

    • Management and maintenance of all company websites (Wordpress)
    • Management and maintenance of all landing pages on HubSpot
    • Content upkeep based on needs and feedback of internal stakeholders
    • Highly targeted social media marketing
    • Google Ads
    • Search Engine Optimisation
    • Sales Qualified Lead Generation
    • Monthly reporting on performance of Digital Marketing activities

    Inbound Sales

    • Handle Sales Qualified Leads
    • Feedback Customer's journey into digital marketing activities
    • Work hand in hand with the sales team to maximise team's target achievements
    • Enhance the use of the CRM for increased sales conversion rates

    ICT Support

    • Support users with general ICT issues including networking, printer troubleshooting, software installations etc.
    • Liaise with external ICT providers where necessary including fleet management, CCTV and ISPs.

    Key Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience using HubSpot Marketing platform, including landing page and form design
    • Minimum of 2 years experience creating and maintaining Wordpress websites
    • Proven track record of SEO activities

    Structural Design Engineer

    Requirement

    • Bachelor's Degree in (Civil &) Structural Engineering
    • B grade or 80% pass mark equivalent for Geometry, Engineering Drawing, Structural Design units
    • KCSE B-plain
    • Applied knowledge of metal welding, structural detail design and fabrication
    • Fundamental interests in physics (fluid mechanics, aviation) and architecture.
    • Team player
    • Ability and willingness to 'get hands dirty' during the fabrication and installation processes.
