Job Description

Key Specific Duties include: 

• Installing, servicing and replacing GPS tracking devices on Company Assets (motorbikes, cars, etc). 
• Maintaining proper information logs and submitting to assigned supervisor all with GPS tracking device installation connected information — vehicle's chassis number, plate number, make, model, color, trackers IMEI number, SIM card number, installation date and place. Other information may be requested at any time. 
• Troubleshooting — Effectively diagnose/repair issues with Tracking Units. 
• Contacting client and organizing trackers' service and/or replacement for the vehicles whose trackers are malfunctioning. 
• Delivering the highest-level professional service to the Company clients while keeping tracker's installation and service information strictly confidential. 
• Reporting all company related expenses (transport, installation related expenses) in accurate manner. 
• Carry out other tasks as requested by the company management. 

Requirements: 

• Diploma — Automotive electrical/mechanical/electronics from a recognized institution 
• 2 years professional Electrical Automotive Experience 
• 2+ years of GPS and fleet management installation experience 
• Previous experience installing/handling GPS tracking devices in a similar role 
• Unquestioned integrity 
• Highest degree of dependability and commitment 
• Good IT literacy 
• Fluent English and Kiswahili in verbal and writing

Job Description

The postholder will troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required as well as maintaining social media website and other duties as assigned.

Key Specific Duties include:

• Communication to Management on major incident progress.
• Problem-fixing all incidents, requests and other calls.
• Provide guidance on the quality of replacement spares and parts.
• Application and Network links monitoring, reporting and follow-up for resolution.
• Provide desk support to end users
• Hardware/Software installations
• Communication to Management on major incident progress.
• Perform hardware and software installation and maintenance.
• Have experience in computer hardware maintenance (PCs/Monitors/Printers)
• Carry out other tasks as requested by the company management.

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in IT,
• At least 2 years working experience in IT Support or IT customer care skills will be added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Proficiency in Windows7/XP support and basic Database knowledge, use of remote administration)
• Any experience in Security Industry will be added advantage but not mandatory
