IT Assistant at Total Security Surveillance

Job Description

The postholder will troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required as well as maintaining social media website and other duties as assigned.

Key Specific Duties include:

• Communication to Management on major incident progress.
• Problem-fixing all incidents, requests and other calls.
• Provide guidance on the quality of replacement spares and parts.
• Application and Network links monitoring, reporting and follow-up for resolution.
• Provide desk support to end users
• Hardware/Software installations
• Communication to Management on major incident progress.
• Perform hardware and software installation and maintenance.
• Have experience in computer hardware maintenance (PCs/Monitors/Printers)
• Carry out other tasks as requested by the company management.

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in IT,
• At least 2 years working experience in IT Support or IT customer care skills will be added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Proficiency in Windows7/XP support and basic Database knowledge, use of remote administration)
• Any experience in Security Industry will be added advantage but not mandatory
