    Legal Services Manager

    Specifically, you will:

    • Provide day to day legal and regulatory support to the functional areas covering general compliance queries and reviews.
    • Follow up on cases filed against the Company and providing legal advice on matters affecting the company.
    • Prepare and update matters-arising matrix to monitor implementation of Board and Senior Management decisions.
    • Keep abreast with the legislative environment that have an impact on the Company's operations.
    • Participate in drawing and vetting of contracts, leases, and other legal instruments.
    • Participate in negotiations of treaties and contracts between the Company and other parties.
    • Prepare Legal opinions and legal interpretations on various matters as required including interpretation of court and arbitral rulings affecting the Company.
    • Carry out legal audits for compliance, and monitoring compliance with legal and statutory requirements of the Company.
    • Ensure compliance to the Company Policies, Regulations, Standards and Procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Provide legal advice and support for Human Capital and employment matters.
    • Oversight over the registration, protection/enforcement and monitoring the use of intellectual property.
    • Liaise with the Company Secretary to ensure full compliance with all Company Secretarial requirements.
    • Assist in undertaking of Company Secretarial services and providing administrative support to the Board and Senior Management.
    • Own and monitor the legal services budget, ensuring efficient legal operations are carried out within the approved budget.
    • Participate in procurement processes.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop staff using relevant human resource tools.

    Qualifications

    • You have a Bachelors Degree in Law from a recognised institution.
    • You have a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
    • You have at least 5 years of experience, 2 of which have been in a management position in a large, transaction driven organization.
    • Certified PubIic Secretary (K) qualification is an added advantage
    • You have in depth knowledge of the Law of Kenya. 
    • You are results oriented with key demonstrated achievements in managing corporate legal matters.
    • You are computer literate with working knowledge of major accounting software programmes.
    • You have experience in legal budget development.

    Procurement Category Lead

    You will be accountable for:

    • Category ownership and accountability of the assigned categories under the leadership of the Senior category manager. 
    • Grow category sales and margins in line with set targets as per Copia’s financial model through diverse procurement tactics. 
    • Daily review of the purchase requisitions and timely order placement.
    • Managing supplier lead times in collaboration with the supply chain team.
    • Managing stock tolerance within the category and ensuring zero stock outs.
    • Ownership of category pricing and ensuring adherence to competitive pricing.
    • Handling inter-departmental queries in relation with the category.
    • Ensuring proactive communication to the business on all matters pertaining to the category.
    • Expand the categories by introduction of new and exciting products.
    • Develop and manage relationships with all the suppliers in your categories and have constant business reviews (SRM)
    • Data analysis and sharing category monthly/weekly performance reports.
    • Develop and share supplier/partner scorecard reports. 
    • Drive sales and revenue for your respective category
    • Optimizing product sourcing mix across the various manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors in the ERP. 
    • Managing internal cross-functional relationships that affect your category e.g. participating in inter-departmental meetings
    • Product ownership on Copia Online (Ensure accuracy of product Image, description, quantities, discounts, right category/sub-category).
    • Any other duties assigned to you by your manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement/Finance/BA/Economics/Accounting or a related field required. Professional certification will be an added advantage.

    Logistics Associate

     In particular you will be required to do the following.

    • Confirmation of Driver and Driver Assistants present each day at 5:30 AM
    • Confirmation of returns from DA’s ensure returns information tally with what DA inputs in the delivery APP
    • Check information on the order summaries, dispatch summaries and driver sheets are correct before issuing to the Driver assistants.
    • Check availability of phones and phone chargers in the trucks and that they are in working condition
    • Confirmation of Redeliveries available on the dashboard and in the APP
    • Monitor to ensure 100% order scanning is achieved, all delivery trips started, and all trucks departed before 6:30AM
    • Schedule and ensure inbound collection are done on time and give feedback to procurement
    • Continuously monitor deliveries status and report any unsolved discrepancies to the Control Tower Supervisor
    • Inform Customer Service on (potential) delays impacting agreed service levels and negative status codes.
    • Manage unauthorized drops and call Driver Assistants regarding long stops for more than 10 minutes.
    • Prepare and circulate correct daily performance reports by 07:00 AM
    • Check and give information to the Delivery Supervisors regarding Driver & Assistants who require training.
    • Ensure Freshdesk ticket resolution is done within the hour of activity check and give appropriate feedback to both internal and external customers.
    • Monitor and ensure trucks return to the depot on the same day for preloading
    • Confirmation of outstanding deliveries and communication to planning team for proper planning
    • Compile and send returns report at the end of the day
    • Confirmation of end trip and checking inbound collection report from procurement
    • Monitor driver behavior and report to Control Tower Supervisor if corrective action is needed.
    • Attend cross functional daily service stand up meeting
    • Comply with the company's corporate responsibility, health, safety and environmental standards and responsibilities as identified within Copia management systems.

    Internal Audit Associate

    Specifically, you will be accountable for:

    • Carry out execution of assigned engagements in line with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards and Internal Audit Manual.
    •  Participate in execution of risk based internal audits as per the audit plan, identifying control gaps and weaknesses and providing recommendations for improvement.
    • Identify key risks within the organization and propose appropriate controls to mitigate them.

    Financial Analyst

    Job Responsibilities;

    • Support the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of the business, including developing and implementing financial KPIs, monitoring and driving financial efficiency across teams, and developing strategic initiatives based on data-driven analysis.
    • Support the development of short term (Annual) and Long-Range budgets/plans focusing on key Revenue, Cost and profitability drivers following the budgeting cycle.
