The Assistant Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reconciliations, assisting in financial reporting, supporting statutory compliance, and strengthening internal financial controls. Key Responsibilities
Financial Records Management
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers
- Post daily transactions into the accounting system
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
Accounts Payable Management
- Process supplier invoices and payment vouchers
- Prepare payment schedules
- Reconcile supplier statements
Accounts Receivable Management
- Post customer payments and receipts
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Monitor outstanding balances and support collections
Bank & Cash Reconciliations
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Monitor and reconcile petty cash
- Investigate and resolve variances promptly
Financial Reporting Support
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports

- Provide accurate data for management reporting
Statutory & Tax Compliance

Qualification

The Sales Executive – Optical Retail is responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the optical store. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and promoting eyewear products including prescription glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Consultation & Sales
- Greet customers professionally and identify their eyewear needs.
- Explain prescription details clearly and recommend suitable frames and lenses.
- Guide customers on lens options (single vision, progressive, blue light filter, anti-glare, etc.).
- Assist customers in selecting frames based on face shape, lifestyle, and budget.
- Close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Promote add-ons such as lens coatings and accessories.
Product Knowledge & Brand Promotion
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of optical products and lens technologies.
- Stay updated on new collections and promotions from brands such as Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Essilor.
- Explain differences between premium and standard products.
- Promote high-margin and featured products.
- Participate in product training sessions.
Sales Target Achievement
- Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Achieve KPIs related to average transaction value (ATV) and conversion rates.
- Upsell premium lenses and coatings.
- Monitor personal sales performance daily.
- Identify opportunities to increase basket size per customer.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with customers.
- Maintain customer database and follow up for repeat purchases.
- Inform customers about promotions, eye check reminders, and new arrivals.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Encourage referrals and positive reviews.
Inventory & Store Support
- Assist in stock monitoring and replenishment.
- Ensure proper display and merchandising of frames and sunglasses.
- Conduct periodic stock counts.

Coordinate with optometrists for accurate prescription handling.

- Ensure proper sample handling to prevent contamination or analytical errors
Collect, Receive, Label, and Process Specimens
- Verify patient identification prior to specimen collection
- Collect blood and other samples using proper clinical techniques
- Accurately label and log samples into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Prepare specimens (centrifugation, aliquoting, staining) for analysis
Operate, Calibrate, and Maintain Laboratory Equipment
- Operate laboratory analyzers and diagnostic equipment as per manufacturer guidelines
- Perform routine calibration and daily quality control checks
- Identify equipment malfunctions and report promptly
- Maintain preventive maintenance and servicing records
Ensure Accurate Documentation and Reporting
- Accurately record results in laboratory systems
- Release validated results within defined turnaround times
- Immediately escalate critical values to clinicians
- Maintain proper documentation for traceability and audits
Maintain Quality Control and Assurance Standards
- Conduct daily internal quality control procedures
- Participate in external quality assurance programs
