    Admin, HR and HSE Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure candidate documentation is collected and recorded/filed.
    • Oversee all staff engagement for the country office and manage the new hire orientation and exit process.
    • Compliance and Record-keeping
    • Annually review the Personnel Handbook recommending amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labor laws.
    • Manage time clocking system for the office, ensuring timely submission, approval, accuracy, and filing.
    • Compensation and Benefits as well as Employee Relations.
    • Coordinate with Finance Manager in the preparation of Payroll.
    • Review employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with labour laws.
    • Ensure smooth running of all administrative functions with county officials.
    • Undertake employee training and development and make recommendations.
    • Oversee the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews.
    • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
    • Work with senior management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically.
    • Investigate employee relations issues and work to ensure human resources-related decisions are consistent and fair.
    • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures. Monitoring plant operations to ensure that they comply with government regulations on environmental protection, safety, and health issues such as OSHA standards
    • Ensuring that employees are trained in proper safety practices and procedures, including emergency response protocols
    • Coordinating with production teams and other departments to ensure that production goals are met
    • Assists, plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and state regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT)
    • Provide HSE training, awareness and induction on site to staff, contractors and other relevant parties.
    • Performs safety audits and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
    • Have first line responsibility for incident investigations, including but not limited to investigating, making initial recommendations and putting measures in place to prevent reoccurrence
    • Assists in the development, evaluation and upgrading of safety programs.
    • Keep HSE statistical records, such as incidents, accidents, near-misses and working hours on site.
    • Ensuring the well-being of workforce and compliance of HSE within the plant.
    • Keep HSE registers up to date, including renewals of permits, licenses, etc.
    • Assist Plant Manager to implement accident-prevention and environmental impact activities on site.
    • Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced including medical checkups for the staff.
    • Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
    • Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, use of PPEs and occupational diseases.
    • Act as Emergency coordinator on site.

    Key Qualifications.

    • Degree in relevant area, HR environment. 
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as HR and HSE Officer preferably in a busy manufacturing plant.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with HR and HSE management systems in an industrial setting.
    • OHS certification or equivalent.
    • Knowledge of ISO safety, quality and environmental standards (preferred).
    • Management skills basic courses (preferred).
    • Firefighting & HSE basic courses (preferred).
    • Fluent knowledge of English.

    Business Development Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Marketing company products and services to achieve business and sales growth
    • Pitching to potential clients, sending quotation proposals and closing the business orders
    • Keeping track of competitor activities and update the company about market intelligence

    Field Service Technician

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with stripping, cleaning, testing, and building of Vacuum Pumps, Book in all pumps as per procedure when delivered on-site, and ensure that the Branch manager is informed of the delivery.
    • Ensure all spare parts are packed into shelves correctly when consignments are delivered from Europe, including pumps. 
    • Ensure the correct persons are notified when spare parts are delivered on-site and all the paperwork is given over.
    • Get spares ready for collection when required to do so.
    • Do regular spare stock takes and notify the Branch manager when re-order levels are reached.
    • When spares are removed from complete kits ensure that the kit is marked accordingly, and the Branch manager is informed that the spare needs to be replaced in that kit
    • You will be responsible for spray painting of all types of hardware on-site and will do so in a safe way which includes wearing a face mask.
    • Will be required to do the service center and field service work (Hands-on)
    • Conduct Vacuum Audits
    • Experience in on-site technical problem solving – must be solution orientated 
    • Customer Training on pump services
    • Must be able to implement company procedures, new policies, and procedures in the new service workshop/center
    • Must know and adhere to all Health and Safety requirements in the Workshop.
    • Must be able to liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner. He will be contacting customers to discuss fault finding and servicing of their pumps and to inform them when their pumps will be serviced/repaired and delivered back to the client

    Qualifications.

    • Degree/Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering.
    • 1-2 years of experience working in a technical service workshop
    • Expert Mechanical & general electrical experience working on pumps and electrical motors
    • Must have a Driver’s Licence
    • Must have strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
    • Must be computer literate – advantage: Microsoft Office, Excel, and Pastel.
    • Must be able to work with people
    • Must be willing to learn more skills and do training
    • Must be able to complete a task in the reasonable and required time.
    • Must have a good understanding of stock and spares levels.

    P1 Teacher

    Responsibilities:

    • To prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the school’s vision and mission.
    • To collaboratively develop unit and lesson plans for the curriculum

    Key Requirements

    • Hold a PTE Certificate (P1 certificate) from KNEC
    • Must be registered by the TSC
    • Over 5 years with teaching record for Language (English and Swahili) in upper primary classes
    • A Primary-trained teacher able to handle upper primary classes
    • Have good classroom management skills
    • A team player with good command of written and spoken English
    • Be conversant with the CBC curriculum
    • Good knowledge of Childhood Development.
    • Passionate about 21st Century teaching skills and I.T. savvy.
    • Creative and good teaching/reading abilities.
    • Patient and hands-on with children.
    • Good intra and interpersonal skills.
