    Financial Controller-IT

    • They seek to hire a competent professional Financial Controller will be tasked with all activities overseeing PAIX’s day-to-day financial operations, such as integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, analyzing financial reports, and ensuring PAIX financial stability.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Accounting & Control

    • Overall management of the accounting records and financial reports ensuring compliance with company, owner, statutory and fiscal requirements and timelines
    • Ensure that the balance sheet is a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the company
    • Ensure legal and tax compliance and validity of permits and licenses
    • Take responsibility for the safekeeping and updating of all leases and contracts, which may affect the financial status of the company
    • Liaise and co-operate with both internal and external audit, ensuring that an effective program of internal audit is in place and that corrective action is promptly taken where required
    • Develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures, with continuous review and development with the aim of maximizing both impact and efficiency

    Management Reporting.

    • Implement reporting that incorporates bench marking, identification and measurement of key performance indicators, and use of the balanced scorecard
    • Ensure reporting is timely and accurate, internally consistent and that reports are conducted each month

    Business Support

    • Support and advice on financial and commercial matters to the Finance Manager and to CFO, including the interpretation of financial data
    • Review management information for the company and make proposals for the Finance Manager and to CFO for value added initiatives

    Investment optimizing returns on capital investment

    • Prepare annual capital plan and direct implementation of this plan, ensuring funding and necessary buying (e.g. Owners) are in place so that the note can be kept at the highest possible standard
    • Perform post investment audit on major capital investments, communicating results of post investment reviews within the management team and ensures actions are taken to learn from such results and maximize returns
    • Ensure compliance with corporate capital policy, maintaining proper control and recording of project spends

    Looking Ahead

    • Work with the Finance Manager and CFO in strategic planning, with particular emphasis on Master-Planning and “thinking outside the box” to identify value opportunities
    • Manage the formulation, review and approval process for budgeting within the company
    • Ensure a regular cycle of forecasting takes place within the operating companies with content and detail appropriate to the needs of the operation
    • Provide alerts to HQMT and Country MD’s via regular forecasts, outlook reports or via ad-hoc reporting concerning positive or negative trends in the business
    • Work with colleagues, the Finance Manager and CFO to ensure consistency and accuracy of communication regarding future trends in the business

    Cash & Working Capital

    • Maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for at least one year ahead, and ensure adequate notice is given by Country Finance Managers, of any future cash requirements
    • Ensure full reconciliation of all bank accounts on a weekly basis, maintaining the highest standards of control over all cash and bank balances at all times
    • Establish robust credit control and credit management policies with the Finance Manager and the Country Finance Managers within the guidelines set out by company policy

    Cost Management

    • Benchmark costs against other data centers, identifying cost reduction opportunities and managing financial risks of the business

    Requirements

    • Master’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent
    • Certified CPA
    • At least 7 years of experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a similar position with an international company
    • Proven experience in finance management
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Sound knowledge of accounting and control fundamentals
    • Auditing experience
    • Compliance oriented
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, (Word, Advanced Excel, Power point) and accounting software (experience with ZohoBooks is a plus)
    • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
    • Sharp time management skills
    • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data

    Account Manager -IT

    • They seek to hire a competent professional Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and closing new MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenues).
    • In this role you will operate autonomously, closely collaborating with local Management, Marketing and Operations teams, and with (as appropriate) HQ Marketing, Finance and Legal, mobilizing resources in achieving its account acquisition and sales objectives. You will have authority and discretion to set and negotiate sales terms within the boundaries set by Management. Prospective and newly acquired accounts are primarily local, however, can be substantial and high profile. Contact is with all decision makers up to C-suite level.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales

    • Develop and implement effective sales action plans to meet or exceed sales targets
    • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competition to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly

    Achieve your MRR target

    • Oversee your entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness

    Build relationships

    • Proactively create and build relationships with decision-makers up to C-suite level at prospective and newly acquired customers, directly or through leads generated by local Marketing or partners

    Scout for new opportunities

    • Actively use LinkedIn or other structured social media campaigns and traditional “cold calling”, and prepare for and attend appropriate local industry events to gain appointments, build relationships and increase awareness of company’s value proposition

    Negotiate and Close

    • Identify, qualify, pursue (design and propose), negotiate and profitably close net new business, in close collaboration with local
    • Conduct commercial and customer contract negotiations within own delegated authority and predefined ranges/guidelines

    Ensure proper information maintenance in ZohoCRM

    • Maintain up to date and accurate information on all customer and sales activity in ZohoCRM
    • Manage opportunities in compliance with Sales processes and policies and Sales standards of performance
    • Establish and monitor sales pipelines, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting

    Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner

    Support immediate post-sales activities as a primary customer contact

    • Direct, oversee and support immediate post-sale activity to ensure continuity and satisfactory customer onboarding

    Prepare and facilitate customer hand-over

    • Hand-over closed business to the Customer Implementation / Operations team

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or IT field
    • 5+ years of experience in a consultative selling area
    • Track record of deals within the BFIS sector
    • Preferable in IT Services/data centre/telco/network environment
    • Broad business network and contact data base especially in the Financial industry
    • Be able to bring your own pipeline of prospective customers
    • Solid understanding of Microsoft office applications
    • Excellent teamwork skills

    Senior Accountant-Dairy

    Our client is a leading FMCG company in Kenya. They seek to hire a Senior Accountant who will manage and perform daily accounting tasks that will support their financial team

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To be the point of contact for finance in all operations, sales reporting, expenditure analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial accountability.
    • Carry out monthly executive reporting on milk rate computation, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue improvement.
    • Verification of payment vouchers and reconciliation of discrepancies within the books of accounts.

    • Strong experience of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
