    Architect - Nairobi

    Role Objective

    • Our client is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically strong Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative architectural designs, preparing technical drawings, and overseeing projects from concept to completion while ensuring compliance with regulations, functionality, and aesthetic excellence.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop architectural concepts, sketches, and detailed designs based on client requirements and project briefs.
    • Prepare architectural drawings, plans, 3D models, and construction documentation using design software.
    • Participate in client meetings to understand project needs and present design proposals.
    • Coordinate with engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors, and other consultants to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
    • Ensure all designs comply with building codes, laws, and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee project development from concept stage through to construction and completion.
    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure design compliance, and resolve technical issues.
    • Review and approve shop drawings, material specifications, and contractor submissions.
    • Incorporate sustainability, cost efficiency, and innovative design principles into projects.
    • Prepare project reports, design presentations, and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and deadlines are met.
    • Stay updated on architectural trends, materials, and construction technologies.
    • Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all project files.

    Job Specifications and Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in architecture & interior design projects, design-build environments.
    • Architectural license/Professional membership will be an added advantage.
    • Strong understanding of building codes, design standards and regulatory compliance.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD.3D rendering tools.MS Office & project management tools.

    Duty Manager - Hospitality

    Role Objective:

    • Our client, a hotel, is seeking a proactive, confident, and guest-focused Duty Manager to oversee day-to-day hotel operations and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction at all times. The successful candidate will act as the key decision-maker on duty, coordinating departments, resolving guest issues, and ensuring smooth hotel operations in the absence of senior management.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery across all departments.
    • Act as the first point of escalation for guest complaints, requests, and emergencies, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
    • Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address service gaps to enhance the overall guest experience.
    • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are maintained.
    • Support the Front Office team with check-in, check-out, VIP arrivals, and special guest requests.
    • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, health, safety, and security standards.
    • Handle operational challenges and make quick, informed decisions to maintain service continuity.
    • Review daily reports including occupancy, revenue, guest feedback, and incident reports.
    • Assist in staff supervision, shift coordination, and performance monitoring across departments.
    • Support training and mentoring of staff to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
    • Ensure proper handling of guest complaints, incidents, and follow-up actions are documented and resolved.

    • Perform any other duties assigned by senior management.

    • Proficiency with Property Management Systems.
