    Business Development Executive

    Job Description

    • Our client is an Investment Advisory & Risk Management Agency providing clients with tailored solutions across wealth management, investments, insurance, financial protection, and risk management.

    About the Role

    • Our client is looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive business growth by identifying, developing, and converting new client opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in selling insurance and investment products, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to understand clients' financial needs and introduce appropriate solutions. This is a sales and business development role within an agency environment, with a strong focus on client acquisition, relationship management, and achieving agreed sales targets.
    • The successful candidate will primarily engage with affluent and high-net-worth individuals, helping them access suitable investment, insurance, wealth management, and risk management solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with affluent and high-net-worth individuals.
    • Generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, events, partnerships, and other prospecting channels.
    • Conduct client meetings to understand financial goals, wealth protection needs, investment objectives, and risk profiles.
    • Present and explain appropriate investment, insurance, wealth management, and financial protection solutions.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and consistently follow up on opportunities.
    • Develop long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for additional products and services.
    • Meet and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets.
    • Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and other client documentation.
    • Work closely with the firm's advisory, operations, and client-service teams to ensure a smooth client experience.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, prospects, sales activities, and pipeline progress.
    • Stay informed about investment products, insurance solutions, market developments, and relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in client events, networking opportunities, seminars, and other business development initiatives.
    • Ensure all sales activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with applicable regulatory and company requirements.

    Requirements

    • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Insurance, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance sales, investment sales, wealth management, or financial services.
    • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and convert prospects into clients.
    • Strong understanding of insurance and investment products.
    • Experience dealing with affluent or high-net-worth clients is an added advantage.
    • Professional qualifications in Insurance, Investments, Financial Planning, Risk Management, or Wealth Management are an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong relationship-management and networking abilities.
    • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
    • Professional appearance and confidence in dealing with senior executives, business owners, and high-net-worth clients.
    • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify client needs and business opportunities.

    Operations Associate – Investments

    Job Description

    • The Operations Associate – Investments will provide operational and administrative support for Moran Capital Management Limited’s investment business, ensuring accurate and timely processing of investment transactions, client onboarding, documentation, reconciliations, reporting and coordination with investment and financial-service providers.

    Key Responsibilitie

    Investment Transaction Processing

    • Process investment instructions including account openings, placements, withdrawals, transfers and other investment transactions.
    • Verify client instructions and supporting documentation before processing.
    • Coordinate with investment providers and financial institutions to ensure timely execution.
    • Track transactions from initiation to completion.

    Client Onboarding & Documentation

    • Support client onboarding and account-opening processes.
    • Ensure completion and maintenance of KYC and other required documentation.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
    • Follow up on outstanding client documentation and requirements

    Account Administration

    • Maintain accurate investment account records and transaction histories.
    • Monitor investment instructions, maturities, withdrawals and other key account activities.
    • Ensure client records and investment documentation are properly filed and accessible.

    Reconciliation & Controls

    • Perform regular reconciliation of investment transactions, client accounts and provider statements.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
    • Maintain appropriate operational controls and documentation.
    • Escalate material discrepancies or exceptions to the relevant supervisor.

    Client & Provider Coordination

    • Respond to operational and administrative queries from clients.
    • Liaise with investment providers, banks, fund managers and other financial institutions.
    • Provide timely updates on transaction status and outstanding requirements.
    • Ensure smooth coordination between clients and investment service providers.

    Reporting

    • Prepare investment operations reports, transaction summaries and client/account reports.
    • Maintain accurate operational trackers and databases.
    • Support management with information required for monitoring investment operations and client portfolios.

    Compliance & Risk Controls

    • Ensure investment transactions and documentation follow approved internal procedures.
    • Support compliance with applicable regulatory and KYC/AML requirements.
    • Maintain confidentiality of client and investment information.
    • Identify and escalate operational risks, exceptions and control gaps.

    Process Improvement

    • Identify opportunities to improve investment operations and turnaround times.
    • Support the development and implementation of efficient operational procedures and controls.
    • Maintain accurate and efficient filing and record-management systems.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Investment or a related field.
    • 2–4 years’ experience in investment operations, fund administration, banking, financial services or a related environment.
    • Good understanding of investment products, transaction processing and financial-services operations.
    • Knowledge of KYC/AML requirements will be an added advantage.
