Duties

• Serve as a liaison with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• Assist the branch manager in managing the branch operations.
• Oversee the procurement and warehousing process to ensure smooth operations, proper storage, adherence to FIFO, management of expiries, and maintaining items in excellent condition.
• Receive, investigate, and respond to all market complaints appropriately.
• Authorize and maintain records of all credit notes.
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with good distribution practices.
• Maintain all customer documentation records.
• Verify the quantity and condition of items upon delivery.
• Evaluate offers from medical representatives.
• Keep records of purchases, pricing, and other pertinent data.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary.
• Review and negotiate pricing and supply contracts.
• Manage returns of slow-moving, overstocked, or soon-to-expire products.
• Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Foster and maintain relationships with medical representatives.
• Ensure continuous supply of high-quality products and monitor their storage conditions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or a related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
• Knowledge of Sage ERP is advantageous.
• Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical market.
