    Security Guard/ Security Supervisor

    1. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the overall safety and security of the Foundation. The security team plays a critical role in the Foundation’s culture and climate. A calm, structured, and positive learning environment is the top priority for the security team. Security personnel actively engage in supporting children for them to be successful in the classroom and school community.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Fulfill duties associated with the post assigned as part of the Foundation’s comprehensive security plan; maintain an orderly post and remain at the post at all times unless otherwise directed by a supervisor.
    2. Actively respond to incidents, fights, or other issues in the school that threaten the safety of students, staff, and/or guests utilizing Safety Care skills up to and including momentary physical intervention if warranted by the safety risk.
    3. Patrol (foot or mobile) and monitor school property for unauthorized persons. If needed, redirect or escort from the property.
    4. Report unusual activity or suspicions of safety issues to the Security Supervisor or administration in a timely fashion.
    5. Complete proper documentation related to incident reports and misconduct reports.
    6. Produce and deliver reports to show progress against key metrics.
    7. Monitor school grounds and school entrances to ensure only authorized personnel and authorized visitors access the school; if assigned to the main entrance, ensure all guests follow visitor protocol and triage visitor requests.
    8. Actively participate in professional development training to ensure ongoing growth and to advance skills.
    9. Build positive and professional relationships with students and leverage those relationships to establish and maintain productive and safe learning environments and common areas of the building.
    10. Exercise dignity and respect when interacting with students at all times.
    11. Serve as a primary participant in emergency response during crises.
    12. Key adherence to SOP and company policies.
    13. Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

    Sales and Marketing Officer

    Job Description

    1. The Sales & Marketing Officer will be responsible for driving awareness, generating leads, converting referrals and enquiries into clients, and supporting the growth and sustainability of Ubuntu Life Foundation's programmes and services.
    2. The role will work closely with department heads and the Community Development Team, to identify opportunities, strengthen referral networks, follow up on leads, and convert community engagement into measurable business results.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for Ubuntu's programmes, products, and services.
    2. Work closely with the CDT to identify potential clients, referral opportunities, and target communities.
    3. Follow up on referrals, enquiries, leads, and potential clients to support conversion.

    5. Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, institutions, community groups, businesses, and other potential partners.
    6. Identify new markets and opportunities for Ubuntu's services and sustainability initiatives.
    7. Support departmental teams in developing practical strategies to increase client numbers and revenue.
    8. Promote Ubuntu's products and services through appropriate marketing channels, including community outreach, social media, partnerships, and direct engagement.
    9. Monitor marketing activities and assess their effectiveness in generating enquiries and conversions.
    10. Maintain an up-to-date database of leads, referrals, prospects, clients, and partners.
    11. Conduct regular follow-ups with potential and existing clients to improve conversion and retention.
    12. Work with department heads to understand service gaps, client needs, pricing, and opportunities for growth.
    13. Support campaigns, events, mobilization activities, exhibitions, and other initiatives aimed at increasing awareness and revenue.
    14. Provide regular reports on leads generated, referrals received, conversions, revenue generated, partnerships, challenges, and next steps.
    15. Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer needs and make recommendations to management.
    16. Contribute ideas and initiatives that strengthen Ubuntu's visibility, customer engagement, and financial sustainability.
    17. Perform any other duties reasonably assigned.

    Qualifications and Experience

    1. Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
    2. At least 1 year experience in sales, marketing, business development, customer acquisition, or a related role.
    3. Strong communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    4. Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into measurable results.
    5. Strong follow-up, organization, and reporting skills.
    6. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different departments.
    7. Experience working within a service-oriented, healthcare, education, nonprofit, or community-based environment will be an advantage.
