    Basketball Academy Lead Coach – Woodcreek Elite Sports Academy (WESA)

    • We are seeking a Basketball Academy Lead Coach to oversee U15 boys and girls teams. The coach will lead a performance-driven programme that develops elite technical skills, tactical awareness, strength & conditioning, and competitive readiness, integrated with academic support.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design and deliver a structured basketball curriculum aligned with age-based performance benchmarks.
    • Conduct weekly training sessions, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
    • Monitor athlete progress using analytics, video analysis, and termly performance reports.
    • Prepare teams for regional, national, and international competitions.
    • Foster a professional, disciplined academy culture emphasising teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship.
    • Coordinate with academic tutors to ensure student-athletes meet academic targets.
    • Collaborate with physiotherapists, nutritionists, psychologists, and sports scientists to support holistic athlete development.
    • Maintain safeguarding, injury prevention, and compliance standards.

    SUCCESS INDICATORS (KPI’S)

    • Measurable skill improvement per term.
    • Participation in ≥3 competitions per year.
    • High retention with target enrolment of 22 students in Year 1.
    • ≥90% of athletes meet academic benchmarks.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • FIBA Level 2 or equivalent recognised basketball coaching certification.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a structured basketball academy or competitive programme.
    • Proven experience developing youth athletes for competitive pathways.
    • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
    • Flexible to conduct early morning, evening, and weekend sessions.

    Football Academy Lead Coach - Woodcreek Elite Sports Academy (WESA)

    • We are seeking a Football Academy Lead Coach to oversee U9–U15 boys and U9-U15 girls. The coach will build and lead a performance-driven programme, combining technical mastery, tactical understanding, strength & conditioning, and evidence-based athlete monitoring.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop a structured football curriculum with age-appropriate skill benchmarks.
    • Lead weekly training sessions, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
    • Monitor athlete performance with analytics, video review, and termly progression reports.
    • Prepare teams for regional tournaments, inter-school leagues, and national competitions.
    • Maintain a professional academy culture emphasising discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship.
    • Coordinate with tutors to ensure academic targets are met, even during competition periods.
    • Collaborate with physiotherapists, nutritionists, psychologists, and sports scientists for holistic athlete support.
    • Ensure safeguarding, injury prevention, and compliance standards are consistently met.

    SUCCESS INDICATORS (KPI’S)

    • 90% of athletes meet academic performance targets.
    • Participation in ≥3 regional or national competitions per year.
    • Ensure high retention rates while attracting more students in Year 1.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • CAF “B” License (minimum) – higher preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years’ academy coaching experience in structured youth football programmes.
    • Proven experience developing athletes for competitive pathways.
    • Leadership, communication, and organisational excellence.

    Swimming Academy Lead Coach – Woodcreek Elite Sports Academy (WESA)

    • We are seeking a Swimming Academy Lead Coach to oversee U9–U17 swimmers. The coach will develop a performance-driven programme that integrates technical skill development, strength & conditioning, endurance training, and competition preparation with academic flexibility.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and execute a structured swimming curriculum with age-appropriate benchmarks.
    • Lead weekly sessions, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, across term and holiday periods.
    • Track swimmer progress with metrics, timed trials, video analysis, and termly performance reports.
    • Prepare swimmers for regional, national, and international competitions.
    • Promote a professional academy culture emphasising discipline, resilience, and teamwork.
    • Coordinate with academic tutors to ensure student-athletes meet academic expectations.
    • Collaborate with physiotherapists, nutritionists, psychologists, and sports scientists for holistic athlete support.
    • Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are fully implemented.

    SUCCESS INDICATORS (KPI’S)

    • Measurable improvement in technical skill, endurance, and starts per term.
    • Participation in ≥3 regional or national swimming competitions annually.
    • High retention rates with target enrolment of 50 swimmers in Year 1.
    • ≥90% of swimmers meet academic targets.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Recognised swimming coaching qualification (Kenya Swimming Federation / World Aquatics / ASA).
    • Lifesaving and first aid certification.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience coaching in a structured swimming academy.
    • Proven experience coaching school-age athletes for competitive pathways.
    • Flexible to conduct early morning, evening, and weekend sessions.
