    Scrum Master

    The Position

    The Scrum Master shall be the facilitator for our Agile team working under the scrum methodology. He/She shall be responsible for delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring the team is working on the right tasks at the right time. He/She will also work together with Technology relation team and product owners to ensure a healthy product portfolio and to translate epics, stories, and other items on the sprint list into actionable tasks for development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ownership and accountability of establishing agile values, methods, principles and practices and their application for the delivery of projects and business initiatives and acts as an evangelist for adoption agile methodology within the enterprise.
    • Ensures that the Scrum Team is provided with an environment conducive for project delivery while facilitating discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution and helps to remove any impediments to the project delivery.
    • The Scrum Master guides, facilitates, coaches, mentor and teaches agile standards and Scrum practices (e.g. Lean, Kanban, Scrum, XP, DevOps, SAFe, LeSS etc) to the scrum, project teams and the whole development organization.
    • Organizes and facilitates and leading scrum ceremonies (sprint planning meeting, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospects etc), events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
    • Collaborates closely with Product Owners and Technology Relationship Management teams to prepare and clarify the Prioritized Product Backlog and the Definition of the Done Criteria and facilitates Prioritized Product Backlog Reviews with the product owner.
    • Facilitates identification of the stakeholders and manages the stakeholders and vendors as required for business projects or initiatives.
    • Responsible for creating release plans including deliverables and the release deadline, plans and estimates the highest value deliverables for the next release.
    • Demonstrate and Validate Sprints by facilitating presentation of completed Deliverables by the Scrum Team for the Product Owner’s approval.
    • Supports the Scrum Team in determining the length of sprint, creating the deliverables, identification of tasks and effort estimation for the tasks agreed for a sprint.
    • Monitoring progress and performance of the scrum teams and institute mechanisms geared towards making improvements in terms of self-organization, productivity and efficiency.
    • Keeping the organization up to date on the progress of the scrum team’s projects & initiatives by preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
    • 7 years’ progressive experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years’ experience successfully implementing projects using Agile & Scrum methodology.
    • Scrum Master Certification is required.
    • Technical knowledge of software development processes and procedures.
    • Experience in administering burndown technologies, retrospective formats, and handling bugs.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

    Engineer – Regional Network Infrastructure

    The Position

    Network Infrastructure department is responsible for planning, deployment and maintenance of the bank data communication needs. The team is responsible for Branch Connectivity, Core Network, IP telephony, Perimeter Security and Network Admission Control.

    The role holder will provide primary support for regional branch network elements (Routers, Switches, IP Telephony, Network Security and Network Access Control). He/She will also be responsible for ensuring all required security controls and audit remediation is done for the responsible region.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Installs and configures WAN and LAN elements to ensure business needs are met. 
    • Maintains documentation regarding network configurations, operating procedures, and service records relating to network hardware and software for the regional responsible for.
    • Provision of timely and high quality and cost-effective network infrastructure to support the bank regional branch network.
    • Researching on and deployment of modern technologies and its application of industry standards and best practices to network installations
    • Ensure all regional network installations adhere to industry standards and best practices.
    • Provide support for subsidiary network teams and act as an escalation point for all network related issues.
    • Service level Application in relation to Telecommunication service providers and Equipment supporting network functions for the regional branch network.

    The Person

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
    • Cisco Certification such as CCNA, CCNP etc is required.
    • Certification in Network Security such as Fortinet, Checkpoint will be added advantage.
    • A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in Information Technology with hands on experience in:

    1. Cisco Network Management.

    2. IP Telephony.

    • Knowledge and experience in Firewall Management & Network Automation.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

    DevOps Engineer

    The Position

    The DevOps Engineer will on a day to day basis work with software developers, system operators and administrators, IT operations staff and others to oversee and/or facilitate code releases & deployments on a Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Deployment (CD) basis. He/She will have knowledge of and experience in the implementation and continuing support of cross platform build systems, continuous integration systems, automated testing, packaging systems, multiple branched environments, and source control integration.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) and DevOps transformation initiatives under the guidance of Enterprise Achitecture and the Technical delivery manager. 
    • Contribute in developing best practices for infrastructure as code (e.g: Puppet, Shell scripting), software build tools (Maven, Gradle, etc.) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
    • Work with the Development and Infrastructure teams in developing, building/packaging/deployment processes for new and existing
    • Work with various IT teams to automate manual release/build related activities utilizing DevOps principles. 
    • Setup/Configuration/Administration of code Repositories like Git, SVN
    • Working with development and test engineers to generate automate testing plans and configurations using Selenium, SonarQube, JUNIT etc.
    • Automation of test plans and deployment pipelines for various applications.
    • Manage Image storage to ensure consistency and recoverability of the same as required.
    • Development of process and procedures of code versions to ensure proper governance and security is always maintained within the enterprise.
    • Working with stakeholders to select “fit for purpose tools” to be used in the DevOps orchestration/automation processes.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
    • Certification in Cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Openshift etc and use of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible etc is required.
    • 3 years’ supervisory experience in Information Technology with hands on experience:

    1.Working in a busy environment with Software Build and Deployments.

    2. Developing Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD) using various tools like TeamCity, Jenkins/Bamboo, and Artifactory/Nexus as binary repository.

    3. Working with Source Code Management tools like GIT, Bitbucket, and TFS.

    • Proficient in scripting & working in a fast-paced agile environment.
    • Hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools like – Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
