The Position

The Endpoint Security Specialist is the Subject Matter Expert in the protection and security of KCB Group enterprise endpoints including servers, user workstations, laptops, mobile devices and other specialized endpoints. He/She will help to design, implement, test and administer endpoint protection solutions for KCB Group. The individual is also responsible for the continued development of Endpoint Security standards, practices, toolsets and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and administration of the Group’s endpoint security solutions such as endpoint detection and response tools, full disk encryption tools and processes in line with the Group’s endpoint protection policies.
• Act as the lead subject matter expert and point of reference to all KCB Group subsidiaries to effectively deploy and manage endpoint detection and response tools on all endpoints including BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) endpoints.
• Define and maintain service level agreements (SLA) and operational level agreements (OLA) for the support of deployed endpoint security solutions across KCB Group.
• Provide technical support in the design and implementation of endpoint security solutions in projects from inception through to successful implementation in a bid to ensure compliance to set endpoint security and protection standards.
• Assess the sufficiency of and recommend improvements to policies, standards and procedures relative to endpoint security and protection best practices.
• Define, create, and deliver periodic compliance reports and relevant protection metrics to Management, as well as resolve identified compliance failures through technology or process-based solutions.
• Actively contribute to the Group’s incident management process by responding to and recovering from detected endpoint security incidents.
• Assist to define & maintain endpoint security baselines & data security standards and provide visibility of adherence to senior management.
• Contribute to Technology security risk and controls self-assessments by leveraging specialized knowledge in endpoint security and protection.
• Conduct research and development on new areas in endpoint security and protection and perform knowledge sharing with Technology Security team across KCB Group.

Requirements

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Telecommunications/ Engineering (Electrical or Electronic) or related field from a recognized university.
• Must possess at least one security certification such as CSX-F (Cyber Security Fundamentals); SSCP ( Systems Security Certified Practitioner); CASP (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner); CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor); CISM (Certified Information Systems Manager); CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
• A minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in Information Technology; with at least 3 years’ experience in Information Security.
• 2 years’ experience in Endpoint Security Management.
• Good knowledge of Banking Operations.
• Excellent planning and organizing skills.
• Excellent problem analysis and attention to detail.

The Position

Technology Infrastructure department oversees planning, deployment and operation of state-of-the-art infrastructure services that include server, storage, network, databases and Cloud that support mission critical services for the Bank.

The position holder will be accountable for planning and operations of cloud infrastructure that is composed of on-premise and on cloud container management platforms to support digital services. The position holder act as a leader of a team of cloud infrastructure responsible for setup and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable and distributed Platform as a Service systems with Kubernetes and Kubernetes flavors such as Openshift.
• Responsible for interfacing with application development teams to ensure applications fit within the infrastructure with scalability, reliability and security designed and implemented from the onset. 
• Responsible for establishing and improving team processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity of people and systems to support cloud infrastructure service. 
• Lead in automation of infrastructure at massive scale to support scaling of digital services.
• Lead the ‘Open source first as a fit for the future initiative within the function. 
• Responsible for deployment of public cloud IaaS and PaaS to support the bank's cloud native services. 
• Provide team management to the cloud infrastructure team.

Requirements

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT/ Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7 years progressive experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years’ experience in infrastructure planning or support in an environment with extensive Linux server environment.
• Certification in RedHat (RHCE/RHCSA) or Kubernetes or Openshift, AWS or Azure Architect/SysOps
• Experience with Container/PaaS orchestration/management platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, CloudFoundry.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise Linux Server Operating Systems such as RHEL/ CentOS, Ubuntu.
• Experience with Configuration Management eg Chef, Ansible.
• Good understanding of build tools, CI/CD, Devops and Agile principles.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

The Position

The position holder will act as the team leader of a team of engineers in charge of systems infrastructure that includes Servers, Storage, SAN, Operating Systems, Active Directory and virtualization. He/She will also provide expertise in planning and operations of systems infrastructure that is composed of diverse technologies running on-premise Servers, Storage, SAN and Operating Systems. 

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for systems support including but not limited to availability, performance and reliability all on-premise IT systems infrastructure.
2. Responsible for infrastructure optimization of all IT infrastructure to ensure optimal infrastructure performance.
3. Administration duties including Windows Active Directory object maintenance, complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2019, Domain Controllers, DNS, user authentication and other operational systems as needed.
4. Implementation tools to aid in improving operation efficiencies in monitoring and infrastructure management.
5. Automation of Directory Services to provide Identity Management and User/Group management tools utilizing Active Directory as the backbone for the Identity Access Management implementation.
6. Establishes service specifications to other systems including permissions modification, deletion, role definitions, reclassification and other similar access management related functions.
7. Service Quality Management by ensuring systems Infrastructure platforms perform within or exceed KPIs, ensure ability of the system to support specific forms of traffic, and to support end user experience. The same should be tracked using SLAs.
8. Service Quality Management: Ensure IT and Infrastructure platforms perform within or exceed KPIs, ensure ability of the system to support specific forms of traffic, and to support end user experience. The same should be tracked using SLAs.
9. Resolve faults on all systems deployed for IT infrastructure and Cloud platforms.
10. Implements best practice security measures to ensure the integrity and continuity of systems services, information and continuously monitor security compliance.
11. Provide systems infrastructure team leadership.

Requirements

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT/ Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7 years progressive experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years’ experience in infrastructure support in an environment mixed with Windows, Linux and UNIX server environment.
• Certification in VMware (VCP) or Storage certification or Microsoft Professional certification in systems.
• Good working knowledge of high availability environments with Active Directory, VMware and RedHat virtualization.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
