We are Avechi Kenya, a growing ecommerce platform in Kenya. We are looking for young passionate and talented graphic designers (with a knack for social media and web platforms), who are looking for an opportunity to grow and build thriving digital web platforms using their skills

Your work will revolve:

• Creating/sourcing new graphics (images, banners) on a daily basis for our web platform and its social media channels
• Creation and deployment of UI/UX designs for a different web applications Updating/creating corporate marketing materials to meet specific goals (digital)
• Conceptualizing creative content for digital campaigns
• Creation of epic motion videos for use on digital medium

Requirements: Must be humble

• Must have a good temperament and able to work under a high pressure employer
• Must be between the ages of 20 yrs to 24yrs old
• Must be highly disciplined and a strong team player
• Must be very creative:
• Capable of coming up with creative ideas and concepts
• Good knowledge in the following software packages: Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, After Effects Software Strong communication and interpersonal skills

We are a growing web platform in Kenya, we are looking for a serious and determined young individual looking for an opportunity to become a programmer/developer

• No experience is needed, you shall be trained.
• You just need to be a positive open minded person who is willing to self-learn and is passionate about coding
• Qualified candidate will have to undergo a 1 year internship process with a paid allowance and other benefits
• Successful internships will lead to a full time position before or after the end of internship

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced web based software applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and API’s Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Maintain and support systems once they are up and running.
• All candidates are also expected to undertake and partake in all other works in our office that do not fall under software programming as you continue your training

Education and experience:

• Must be highly disciplined and a great self learner
• Must have an A or A- in Maths, KCSE
• Available full time, this is not part-time
• Must be between ages 20 to 24yrs old
• Good knowledge of PHP/Javascript/MySQL
• Good knowledge and experience with HTML/CSS
• Good understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues

• Provide professional office administration and management support to all office activities
• Establish and manage communication with employees and director Monitor and perform employee performance, provide in-service training and take disciplinary actions when required
• Provide assistance to director to recruit, train and induct new staff for organization Provide secretarial support to director when needed
• Manage and monitor office functionaries such as personnel files, labor, accruals, new employees
• Prepare detailed reports on attendance and operation metrics
• Administer and compile weekly and monthly performance data and statistical reports
• Evaluate all office operations and provide support to create or modify procedures and policies
• Organize and prioritize office tasks to fulfill all administrative requirements
• Maintain all office communication and human resources activities
• Perform background check to verify new hires
• Organize orientation program for new staff
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers of office equipment to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain all office equipment, files and records for effective functioning of office

Qualifications

• Must have good temperament and be able to work under a high pressure employer
• Must be very responsible, highly disciplined with leadership skills
  Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration (certifications in IT an added advantage)
• Must be between the ages of 26 to 30yrs old
• Must have proficient computer skills
