• To perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of tractors and related agricultural machinery to ensure optimal performance, safety, and minimal downtime as per manufacturer recommendations

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Assessments & Repairs

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and inspections on tractors and mechanical systems, providing recommendations both in the field and workshop.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Perform engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake system fixes, and hydraulic repairs as per OEM standards.

Preventive Maintenance

• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and system checks.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections and assembly of new units.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and maintenance schedules.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed.

Customer Service

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and provide equipment care recommendations.
• Advise supervisors appropriately after engaging with customers on maintenance and repair requirements.

Workshop Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Tools Management & Reporting
• Ensure safe and proper maintenance of tools and diagnostic equipment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Maintain accurate service records, schedules, and part usage.

Purpose of the Role: 

• The Sales Executive is directly responsible for selling New Holland tractors at set Gross Profit, Volume, and Customer Satisfaction standards. Assist customers in determining tractor needs and completing financing paperwork where applicable. Building customer loyalty and increases Customer Satisfaction through professionalism, trustworthiness, sincerity, attitude, and a business-like appearance in every customer’s experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Execution & Business Development
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets for New Holland tractors and implements.
• Engage customers in needs-based selling to recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, including the preparation and presentation of proposals.
• Actively follow up on sales leads from regional activations, digital platforms (website & social media), walkins, and referrals.
• Conduct product demonstrations and test drives to showcase product value and capabilities.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Provide pre-delivery training to customers, ensuring they understand tractor usage, maintenance schedules, and warranty terms.
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure product satisfaction and resolve any operational issues.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by offering consistent support, trust, and a professional experience.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, farmers, institutions, and community leaders to enhance market presence.
• Product & Market Knowledge
• Stay up to date with the latest New Holland tractor models, specifications, and technologies through mandatory online training.
• Conduct competitor analysis and share market intelligence to help improve sales strategy and business decisions.
• Gather and share customer feedback and insights to support product improvement and innovation.
• Reporting & Compliance
• Maintain accurate records of prospects and sales activity using the sales tracker.
• Prepare daily and weekly sales reports for review by management.
• Ensure complete and accurate pre-customer files, including all KYC documents, for submission to the finance team.
• Adhere strictly to Inchcape’s financial policies and procedures during the sales process.
• Showroom & Brand Representation
• Ensure tractors and implements are clean, well-arranged, and presentable in the showroom at all times.
• Maintain an adequate and organized display of marketing materials, brochures, and point-of-sale items.
• Represent the New Holland brand professionally in all public engagements, events, and activations.

Job role and responsibilities:

• Builds productive working relationships with fellow employees through clear communications.
• Assists Service Technicians in determining parts requirements.
• Maintains positive working relationships with vendors and staff.
• Informs customers when special order parts have arrived.
• Provides Technician with necessary parts with minimal wait time; uses parts pre-picking when applicable (e.g., when customer is coming in for recall part or scheduled service interval).
• Applies retailing techniques to sell and display parts and accessories.
• Coordinates with Service Department, Sales Department, Body Shop, and others to ensure that parts requests are met.
• Identifies and supports opportunities for methods/process improvement in the Parts Department.
• Uses parts resources (catalogues) to acquire information on parts and accessories inventory.
• Maintains tight control over parts inventory to increase efficiency and eliminate customer delays.
• Maintain high level of inventory visibility by having no sock variances.
• Makes full use of inventory allowances to keep idle and obsolete inventory to a minimum- Use this one -Inventory optimization, keep 80% order first fill rate at 80% with high inventory accuracy with minimal stock outs.
• Manage stock aging and align stock holding as per Inchcape policy. Aging categorization starts at 3years.
• Maintains a proper filing system for all paperwork corresponding to repair orders, special orders, back orders, etc.
• Receiving and answering customer enquiries on parts and making follow up for sale.
• Keep up to date with New Holland and competitor products and rates.
• Placing special orders and making follow up for sale.
• Upselling parts whenever serving customers.
• Actively participating in promotions that the company may organize.
• Evaluate parts accounts , prospects and ensure customer loyalty.
• Execute sales growth strategies monthly and quarterly for parts sales.
• Mapping of regions according to their parts purchasing capabilities and preparation of a detailed visit plan.
• Updating the parts Manager on lost orders.
