    Marketing Officer

    Your mission at Sistema.bio:

    The Marketing Officer will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the successful execution of marketing initiatives by managing the creative processes, and supplier relationships, supporting field marketing projects and other marketing activities. 

    You’ll be in charge of:

    • Developing detailed briefs for the creative team on Monday.com and being the primary contact person for the graphic designer regarding the marketing team's design needs.
    • Managing supplier relationships, including handling samples, briefs, and deadlines, and ensuring quality assurance.
    • Sourcing, identifying relevant industry events & facilitating the team's participation, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies.
    • Providing support to the field team in projects, including proposal writing and research.                
    • Collaborating with the marketing manager to develop regional training content.
    • Analyzing and evaluating the performance of each marketing channel, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
    • Developing and implementing strategies to promote and drive participation in the program. Make changes to improve the program's efficiency, user experience, and overall effectiveness.

    More about YOU:

    • You possess a bachelor's degree in marketing or any business-related field. (CIM is an added advantage).
    • You have 2 years of work experience working in the marketing department.
    • You are fluent in Swahili & English.
    • You have experience in marketing research and analysis.
    • You have excellent writing skills in English.

    • You understand social media platforms, trends, and effective strategies.

    Social Media Specialist

    Your mission at Sistema.bio:

    The Social Media Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of social media strategies for Sistema.bio. Create engaging content, optimize company pages, and foster community interaction. With expertise in social media marketing and analytics, drive customer engagement, website traffic, lead generation and revenue growth for digital channels.

    You’ll be in charge of:

    • Building, implementing and measuring the success of organic and paid social media strategy.
    • Co-designing with the marketing team the monthly social media content ((copy & captions)) based on the digital marketing strategy; and coordinating with creative teams to produce graphic, video and interactive media elements.
    • Scheduling, and posting the monthly social media content to be 100% visible on our platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, IG, FB,  YouTube).
    • Engaging with various audiences, farmers, institutions,  followers and team members to build community engagement in digital channels for Sistema.bio and channel prospects and opportunities to our partners network in the region.
    • Reviewing metrics dashboards to improve campaign performance and perform monthly social media KPIs and analysis reports.
    • Ensuring the brand's messaging, visuals, values, and overall identity remain uniform and cohesive across all channels and touchpoints, both online and offline.

    More about YOU:

    • Possess a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
    • You have 3+ years of work experience in digital advertising and community management.
    • You have experience in paid social campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Ads. 
    • You are passionate about taking care of the customers and making sure they have a great experience.
    • You have a sharp sense of what makes a story shareable and you have brilliant storytelling skills.
    • You can work in a multicultural team.
    • You are deeply analytical and use data/consumer insights to drive decision-making.
    • You are a digital native who loves to be on top of digital trends and has a natural talent for finding out about how digital platforms work.
    • You have basic knowledge of video editing.

    IT Support Intern

    Your mission at Sistema.bio:

    The IT_ Support Intern  will be responsible for providing direct technical assistance and support to Sistema.bio employees for all network, hardware and software issues. 

    You’ll be in charge of:

    • Responding to user requests for service, troubleshooting problems and helping develop solutions.
    • Providing basic Software/ Hardware Support (Level I) - Providing basic day-to-day support for end user requests related to desktop software/hardware, telecom, and video conferencing.
    • Training and Development. Supporting with  training of employees on matters IT including onboarding of new employees.
    • Assisting in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment.
    • Ensuring that all malfunctioning equipment is inspected and repaired in a timely manner. 
    • Performing minor repairs to equipment and arranging for other servicing needs.

    More about YOU:

    • Possess a  bachelor's degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field.
    • You have a minimum of 1 year work experience in IT Support. 
    • You are proficient at working with MS office.
    • You are proficient at working with Google Suite, Drive and Gmail have no secrets for you.
    • You understand laptop and printer specs, can troubleshoot and improve wifi speed.
    • You have a track record of effectively diagnosing and solving problems.
    • You have a track record of documenting solutions and developing pedagogic material.
    • You are service oriented and able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
    • You have strong verbal communication skills in the local language.
