    Principal Creative Production Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Executive Director/CEO, the job holder will;

    1. Plan, coordinate and implement creative programs for the Kenya Cultural Centre;
    2. Mobilise resources to support creative activities of the Centre;
    3. Steer the creative production process from beginning to completion and ensure the commercial viability of the products by turning story ideas into profitable creative productions;
    4. Ensure incubation of creative ideas;
    5. Lead all production efforts including hiring, supervising all staff and crew;
    6. Coordinate with other theatre personnel to ensure the efficiency of the production process;
    7. Liaise between the cast, crew, and director;
    8. Verify theatre purchases, organize meetings, and schedule rehearsal times;
    9. Make decisions regarding casting, costuming, lighting, and other aspects of theatre productions;
    10. Create an environment where the talents of the cast and crew can flourish;
    11. Put together a creative and talented cast and crew;
    12. Responsible for all aspects of creative productions process;
    13. Ensure compliance with regulations and codes of practice;
    14. Be accountable for the success of the finished creative production; and
    15. Any other responsibilities as may be assigned to the employee and as are necessary to achieve the Centre’s objectives.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    The appropriate candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications;

    1. Bachelor’s Degree Creative Arts and any other related field from a recognized university.
    2. A minimum period of six of (6) years post qualification experience in a relevant field
    3. Must demonstrate outstanding professional competence and administrative ability as reflected in work performance and results
    4. Must demonstrate ability to write cultural proposals for research and funding
    5. Proficiency in computer applications
    6. Professional qualification and membership to a professional body where applicable

    Fulfilling the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution

    Remuneration

    The successful candidate shall be offered competitive remuneration at KCC Job Group 5, a House allowance and Leave allowance as per government rates.

    Principal Finance Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Executive Director/CEO, the job holder will;

    1. Implement financial regulations, policies, strategies and plans;
    2. Ensure effective and efficient use of financial resources;
    3. Authorize commitments and expenditures;
    4. Prepare financial reports and analyse income and expenditure against budgets;
    5. Prepare budget estimates and undertake budgetarily and cost controls;
    6. Coordinate preparation of budgets based on work plans;
    7. Coordinate preparation of budget proposals, financial plans and cash flow projections;
    8. Develop budget utilization reports;
    9. Undertake financial and accounting management;
    10. Design, monitor and supervise the implementation of financial internal controls;
    11. Coordinate financial audits and ensure implementation of financial recommendations.
    12. Any other responsibilities as may be assigned to the employee and as are necessary to achieve the Centre’s objectives

    Requirements/Qualifications

    The appropriate candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications;

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option) or it’s equivalent from a recognized university;
    2. CPA (K) or it’s equivalent;
    3. Membership of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or any other recognized professional body in good standing;
    4. Minimum four (4) years post qualification work experience in the finance field;
    5. Demonstrate competence in Government accounting procedures and reporting;
    6. Must demonstrate strong bookkeeping and accounting skills;
    7. Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks;
    8. Proficiency in computer application;
    9. Demonstrated competence in work performance; and
    10. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    Sales and Marketing Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Events Officer, the job holder will;

    1. Create awareness and branding of Kenya Cultural Centre services;
    2. Regularly analyse sales and take corrective action to achieve targets;
    3. Draft marketing correspondences;
    4. Digital market the Centre’s productions and programmes;
    5. Prepare content for the publication of marketing material, and their distribution;
    6. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth;
    7. Assist in developing and maintain client database for e-marketing and distribution of information for stakeholders;
    8. Assist in developing sales plan and strategies for developing business;
    9. Assist in providing detailed and accurate sales for forecasting and tracking the same;
    10. Assist in combining information and data related to customer and prospect interactions;
    11. Assist in monitoring customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to Centre;
    12. Assist in ensuring achievement of desired market share in detailed areas.
    13. Proactively support each of the team members to achieve their target; and
    14. Any other responsibilities as may be assigned to the employee and as are necessary to achieve the Centre’s objectives.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    The appropriate candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications;

    1. Minimum of a Diploma in Sales or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    2. Proficiency in computer applications;
    3. Demonstrated skills in digital sales and marketing;
    4. Demonstrate ability to form partnerships and collaborations
    5. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution.

    Assistant Information Communications Technology Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Administrative Officer, the job holder will;

    1. Test simple computer programs according to instructions and specifications;
    2. Install and configure computer systems;
    3. Provide user support;
    4. Repair and maintain ICT equipment and associated peripherals;
    5. Monitor the performance of ICT equipment
    6. Provide support for application systems;
    7. Identify and report any faults for necessary action;
    8. Maintain up to date equipment register; and

     Any other responsibilities as may be assigned to the employee and as are necessary to achieve the Centre’s objectives

    Requirements/Qualifications

    The appropriate candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications;

    1. Diploma in any of the following fields: Information Technology Management, Computer Science/Engineering or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; and
    2. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
