Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage all knitting machines safely and efficiently, ensuring products meet quality standards and handling production-related adjustments (size, style changes, etc.).
• Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) to address machines/products not meeting quality expectations; maintain or exceed the company's quality benchmarks on the knitting floor.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computerized circular knitting machines to consistently produce high-quality products, utilizing appropriate yarns and raw materials for achieving design objectives.
• Oversee the feeding of raw materials into machines, replace consumable spares, and coordinate production schedules for timely order delivery.
• Prepare daily production and attendance reports, manage a team of attendants, and ensure adherence to safety protocols; provide training for new team members with QC HOD.
• Update management and engineers on machine status, switch and load machine programs, and address knitting faults for improved product quality.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and multitasking abilities; strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with circular knitting and hosiery development is a plus (training provided); capable of leading a team with a positive attitude.
• Physical ability to stand for 8-10 hours, lift heavy parts, and operate machinery; must handle bending, stooping, and reaching tasks.
• Essential attendance, ability to read and write English, and work in a medium to low noise environment.

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform regular checks on finished products to identify defects and variations, adhering to company quality standards.  
• Feed raw materials into machines, ensuring correct placement of yarn cones and optimal functioning of feeders.  
• Monitor machines continuously to prevent stoppages; troubleshoot minor issues or escalate to machine operators as needed.  
• Quickly resolve stoppages caused by raw material shortages, and immediately inform the team of any mechanical breakdowns.  
• Bundle socks into groups of 24 pieces (12 pairs), clearly marking batch information for accurate inventory tracking.  
• Maintain accurate records of production output, waste, and machine performance, ensuring data is up-to-date.  
• Separate waste and defective products into designated areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.  
• Assist in achieving production targets by ensuring consistent machine operation and minimal downtime.  
• Comply with all safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.  
• Previous experience as a machine attendant or operator in the knitting industry is advantageous.  
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address quality issues promptly.  
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.  
• Reliable attendance and ability to stand for long periods (8-10 hours daily).  
• Basic English proficiency and good hand-eye coordination.
