    Medical Representative

    Qualification: Dietetics or bachelor’s degree with Physiology

    Position Summary

    Responsible for ethically and science based building the image of and the role of Nestle Infant and Maternal Nutrition products in the 1st 1000 days, with Health Care Professionals and institutions, within a specified territory, in order to compliantly drive recommendation/advocacy /prescriptions for these products.

    A day in the life of…

    A Medical Delegate

    Compliance: Using the Code Management system for the specific market as the guiding document for all daily activities, to assist the leadership team to ensure that all activities within the team and region, comply with the WHO International Code for the marketing of Breastmilk substitutes, Nestle Instructions and the local Code.

    A Medical Delegate

    Advocacy: Ensure increased advocacy towards Nestle Infant Nutrition and Maternal products and Nestle Nutrition services, when detailing to HCP’s and calling in HCI, through: applying the acquired skills; incorporating the knowledge of Nestle and competitor products, the territory dynamics and HCP profile in the discussion with the HCP and also contribute to long-term, mutually beneficial relationships during these interactions.

    Manage the assigned territory as per the requirements and guidelines set for Master data management/ HCP classification/ HCP and HCI segmentation, master schedule planning, HCP call rate, call strike rate, HCP surveys and gathering of data for insights that can drive the marketing- and territory action plans.
    The creation and execution of a territory specific action plan to contribute to the outputs required by the national- and regional business plans.

    What Will Make You Successful

    • Dietetics Qualification or Bachelor’s Degree/ with Physiology as a Major
    • At least 2 years’ experience as a Medical Delegate or similar position.
    • Valid Driver’s License

    Filling Operator

    Position Summary

We’re now looking for a Filling Operator to join the Nairobi Factory. The Filling Operator will be responsible for the control, running and supervision of a range of filling and packaging equipment/processes.

    A day in the life of...

    • Ensure that the workplace is safe, clean and maintained in accordance with SHE, Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices and 5S requirements
    • Ensure that only released Semi Finished Goods and packaging materials and in their right quantities are used for Production
    • Ensure that machines assigned are operated with the right conditions and parameters to deliver the right quality, quantity and cost of product as per production plan, including
    • coordinating packing operators to achieve plan
    • Ensure proper operation and inspection of lines, in coordination with the Engineering, QA & Logistics colleagues, through Shift Handover action plans and timely escalation to the Daily Operating Review
    • Document all material and product details on the process forms required as per QMS within the shift, ensuring accuracy and completeness of Finished Goods declarations and material consumptions
    • Perform Nestlé Continuous Excellence activities during the shift, including timely update of Stoppage Analyses Module and SAP as required
    • Perform any other duty as assigned by the Production Shift Leader
       

    What Will Make You Successful

    • Minimum KCSE Level
    • At least 6 months relevant experience in Production, Packing section
    • Involvement in past NCE/TPM initiatives an added advantage
