    Our Client a market leader in power tools wishes to recruit Merchandisers for a period of 6 months to work within the Nairobi Metropolitan the Contract period – 6 months.

    Reporting to:  Marketing Head


    • Drive brand development of company products & services.
    • Maintain professional customer support.
    • Market company products.

    • Coordinating product activation & in-store demonstrations to users.
    • Spearhead distribution of posters, catalogues, leaflets printed for distribution to users.
    • Planning product ranges and preparing sales and controlling stock levels.
    • Working closely with retail staff and department heads to display products to maximize visibility.
    • Maintaining awareness of competitors' performance.
    • Monitoring slow sellers and advising action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary.
    • Keeping up to date with market trends and new developments and utilizing the information to present creative ideas.
    • Making routine reports accurately & timeously.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through product demonstrations, responding to client queries and a strong after sales service.
    • Do any other work as may be communicated from time to time.
    • Willing to work during weekends and public holidays
    • Willing to travel/commute to all parts of Nairobi and outskirts of Nairobi


    Qualifications / Experience

    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Merchandising / Brand Marketing and Promotions role.
    • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work with minimum supervision as well as part of a team.
    • Results oriented and passionate about growing brands.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Knowledge of sales automation system is an added advantage
    • Excellent customer service
    • Ability to grasp product characteristics quickly
    •  Strong presence of character
    • Confident and pro active
