Role Outline

• To maximize the performance of the Meraki clients by safely operating the MHE in carrying out warehouse tasks as per the assigned duties in this role profile and as instructed on a daily basis.- "making DHL a great place to work and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve defined outcomes for the warehouse and the customer(s).

About the role Key duties and responsibilities

• Implement actions as aimed at reducing or eliminating health and safety related risks
• Forklift inspection.
• Receiving of raw materials from suppliers
• Issuing raw materials to production centers.
• Receiving of Finished goods from production
• Assembling orders for customers, doing load verification and loading products to trucks.
• Put away of products into the warehouse.
• Adhere to customer requirements in line with DPDHL policy.
• Participate in customer, regulatory and internal operational audits as required and work with the team to implement the agreed action plan.
• Respond to or escalate customer issues within clear guidelines and recommend solutions where possible.
• Support management implement continuous improvement activities
• Support in implementing site plans within own area of operation
• Support the environmental agenda and continuous improvement activities to increase environmental efficiency.

About you

• Certificate in Forklift/MHE Operations.
• 5 yrs in Operating the MHE.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns and odd days.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• English and Kiswahili both spoken and written.
