    About You:

    • You are a seasoned engineer who continuously learns and adapts to emerging technologies. You bring strong analytical thinking, a customer-first mindset, and enjoy solving complex technical challenges. You work effectively in global, cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    A normal day looks like:

    • Analyze requirements to ensure information is complete and determine complexity.  Ideally use out-of-the-box functionality - determine what different design options exist and highlight any compromises.
    • Serve as an active contributor on an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, refinement, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Collaborate with other technology teams to facilitate interfaces between OnBase and other systems.
    • Ensure that solutions adhere to OnBase and Cigna best practices and leverage standard functionality where possible.
    • Ensure developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable and adhere to security standards.
    • Provide technical input into design decisions, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities early in the development lifecycle.
    • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, standards compliance, and alignment with best practices.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for existing and new development, including technical designs, configurations, and support processes.

    Ideally, you’ll have experience with:

    • Proven experience of 5+ years in a role within software development with a strong technical focus on C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
    • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization and database design.
    • Experience building and maintaining API-based integrations and REST/SOAP services
    • You are eager to work on bespoke .NET components, as well as customize and configure imaging & workflow vendor platforms (OnBase).
    • Prior experience working in an Agile development environment with knowledge of agile methodologies (such as SAFe).
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
    • Prior experience in the health insurance domain is highly desirable.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
