    Events Business Development & Accounts Associate - Nairobi

    Role Objective

    • Our client an event management company particularly noted for its full-scale production capabilities is looking for a results-driven, highly organized professional to drive revenue growth, win new business & bids, manage key accounts, oversee end-to end event execution from client briefs and build lasting relationships with clients. 
    • In this role, you are trusted with ensuring exceptional service from the initial pitch to the final event wrap-up.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Actively identifying and reaching out to potential corporate clients, brands, associations, and event planners who need event management services.
    • Monitoring industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging markets to identify new opportunities.
    • Leading the creation of tailored event concepts, RFPs (Requests for Proposals), and pitch decks. You work with the creative team to build a vision and then pitch it directly to decision-makers.
    • Leading negotiations on pricing, event scope, and contract terms to secure the business.
    • Serving as the strategic, high-level consultant for won clients, ensuring their brand goals and event objectives are met.
    • Turning one-off event clients into recurring annual partners. You look for opportunities to upsell services.
    • Acting as the primary point of escalation if a client has concerns regarding budgets, timelines, or creative direction.
    • Translating the client\'s approved vision into actionable briefs for the Event Producers, Operations Team, and Creative Designers.
    • Providing  Strategic Oversight-You stay looped into major planning milestones to ensure the execution matches what you sold to the client.
    • Client Relations by attending major events to act as a VIP host for your clients, ensuring they are happy and seeing the event\'s success firsthand.
    • Balancing competitive client pricing with the company’s internal profit margins during the bidding phase.
    • Tracking your personal sales pipeline, revenue targets, and account growth metrics, and reporting these to senior leadership.
    • Meeting with the client post-event to present data (attendance rates, engagement metrics, media impressions) and immediately planting the seed for their next event.
    • Any other relevant duties as assigned.

      Job Specifications and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of proven success in Business Development and marketing campaigns.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Role Objective

    • A reputable mid-sized law firm offering services in litigation, property law, corporate practice, and estate matters seeks to hire a competent, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual to support its administrative and operational functions.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Prepare, format, and organize legal documents for filing 
    • File court documents and other legal paperwork at relevant registries 
    • Collect, deliver, and track documents between courts, law firms, and related offices 
    • Maintain well-organized legal files and ensure proper document storage systems 
    • Record and update hearing dates, mention dates, and case schedules 
    • Monitor ongoing cases and provide timely updates to management 
    • Compile case materials and assist in preparing basic case reports
