    Administration and Finance Assistant

    • The Administration and Finance Assistant provides essential support to ensure smooth organizational operations and strong financial management. The role assists with day-to-day administrative tasks, financial record-keeping, documentation, and reporting. This position helps maintain accurate financial data, supports procurement and logistics processes, and ensures compliance with organizational policies. The assistant works closely with the Administration and Finance teams to promote efficiency, accountability, and excellent office coordination.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support in processing financial transactions, including data entry, documentation, and filing.
    • Assist with preparing and reviewing payment requests and expense reports.
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial and administrative records.
    • Provide support in office administration, including inventory management and logistical coordination.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and donor use.
    • Support procurement documentation and follow-up with vendors.
    • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
    • Basic knowledge of financial systems and accounting principles.

    Program Facilitators- Kakuma-4

    Role overview

    • The Facilitator will plan, manage, and deliver program training sessions while creating content and facilitating learning across diverse subject areas. They will employ innovative tools and approaches to ensure the achievement of project outcomes for participants (across various ages based on the program) including adult learners. Additionally, they will develop and use assessment, measurement metrics and tools to track and report program success effectively.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Community Mobilization
    • Conduct stakeholder mapping and engagement
    • Mobilize target groups through outreach campaigns, door-to-door visits, school visits, or partner referrals to register participants for program activities.
    • Organize and conduct community sensitization sessions as per program needs.
    • Training Session Planning and Management
    • Design and schedule training sessions in alignment with program goals and participant needs.
    • Manage logistics for training delivery, including materials, venues, and technology requirements.
    • Monitor and adjust session plans to ensure effective time management and learner engagement.
    • Content Creation and Delivery
    • Develop high-quality, relevant, and program/project appropriate training materials and content.
    • Update content regularly to align with evolving program objectives and participant feedback.
    • Deliver engaging and interactive sessions tailored to participants needs using various innovative methods.
    • Learning Facilitation
    • Facilitate dynamic and participatory learning sessions that cater to diverse learning styles.
    • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment to maximize learner engagement and participation.

    • Develop and implement tools and metrics to measure training effectiveness and learning outcomes.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Diploma in community development, Early childhood development, Education, project management, facilitation or a related field.
    • Proven experience in training session planning, child development activities, mental health and Psychosocial support content creation, and facilitation of adult learning.
    • Experience in SRHR services or programs delivery to communities.
    • Strong technical skills in curriculum design and delivery.
    • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for innovative learning.
    • Experience in monitoring and evaluation of training programs.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Key competencies

    • Experience working with displaced persons, refugees, or underserved communities.
    • Knowledge of participatory learning approaches and adult education principles.
    • Multilingual capabilities especially English, Swahili, Arabic etc.
    • Tech and innovation driven.

    Cook

    Role Overview

    • The Cook prepares nutritious, balanced meals for students and staff while upholding high standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality. The role ensures timely meal service and supports the overall well-being of the school community.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and cook daily meals according to the school menu and nutrition guidelines.
    • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized kitchen at all times.
    • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety practices.
    • Manage kitchen supplies, inventory, and daily meal ingredients.
    • Serve meals on time and ensure portions meet required standards.
    • Support a positive and welcoming dining environment for students and staff.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a school or institutional setting.
    • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper food handling.

    Security Guard- 2

    Role Overview

    • The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of KI4BLI office premises, property, and personnel. Working in rotational day and night shifts, the guard will monitor premises, prevent unauthorized access, respond to security incidents, and maintain detailed activity logs. This role requires vigilance, integrity, and the ability to handle emergencies effectively.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Security and Safety
    • Ensure the safety and security of KI4BLI office premises, assets, and personnel at all times.
    • Patrol and monitor assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized access.
    • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or any security incidents.
    • Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect property access points, and verify the identity of visitors or personnel as needed.
    • Shift Management
    • Work day and night shifts as per the provided schedule.
    • Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during the shift.
    • Property Protection
    • Safeguard all equipment, vehicles, and other assets located at KI4BLI centers.
    • Conduct regular inspections of locks, gates, and windows to ensure all access points are secure.
    • Prevent theft, vandalism, or damage to property through active vigilance and deterrence.
    • Emergency Response
    • Act as the first point of contact during emergencies, including fire outbreaks or security breaches.
    • Liaise with local authorities or emergency services when necessary.
    • Provide basic assistance or directions during emergencies to ensure safety.
    • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and incidents.
    • Prepare and submit timely reports on security incidents, maintenance needs, or other observations.

    • Adhere to KI4BLI’s security protocols and standard operating procedures.
    • Participate in security training sessions or drills to stay updated on best practices.

    Required skills and Qualifications

    • Minimum of a secondary school certificate (KCSE). Additional training in security services is an advantage.
    • At least 2 years of experience as a security guard or in a related role.

    Cleaners- 2

    Role Overview

    • The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment in the designated premises. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring high hygiene standards, and addressing any specific cleaning needs as required.

    • General Cleaning
    • Sweep, mop, and clean the areas assigned.
