    Operations Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Have oversight over all operational activities and ensure all operations are cost-effective
    • Have oversight over all business functions including administration, finance, facilities management etc
    • Improve and implement operational management systems, standards, processes and best practice
    • Provide strategic leadership to the internal team and ensure business goals are met
    • Manage the contracting of service providers and ensure they provide quality services
    • Ensure that there is legal and regulatory compliance in all operations
    • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing
    • Oversee the financial management of the organization for optimal value and profitability
    • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
    • Conduct market research and recommend business strategic growth opportunities.

    Person’s specifications

    • At least four (4) years in Operations Management
    • Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
    • Must have great leadership and team management skills
    • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
    • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Basic understanding of financial management.

    Property Officer

     Duties and Responsibilities

    • Daily management of company property and facilities
    • Collect revenue, issue receipts and ensure rent is paid on time
    • Prepare contracts and leases in a timely manner and ensure tenants adhere to them
    • Manage the repair and maintenance of all properties and ensure they remain in good condition
    • Keep a database of service providers including plumbers, carpenters and other contractors
    • Supervise service providers and ensure they offer quality and timely service
    • Fill vacant units by placing advertisements either in the newspaper or on boards
    • Manage and resolve tenant and landlord complaints
    • Conduct Market research and keep up with industry trends
    • Conduct regular property inspections
    • Perform administrative tasks including managing correspondence.

    Person’s Specifications

    • A strong understanding of the property/real estate market, its dynamics, and requirements
    • Great understanding of property and facilities management processes and documentation
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing both commercial and residential property
    • A diploma in Property Management or related field
    • Strong administration and customer service skills
    • Very strong communication and negotiation skills
    • Must demonstrate attention to detail
    • Great people management skills.

    Accountant

     Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivables
    • Manage and maintain a strong cash flow system
    • Generate and dispatch invoices
    • Prepare and submit timely financial reports and statements
    • Carry out bank reconciliations and properly record financial transactions
    • Ensure statutory payments are made on time
    • Manage petty cash and utility bills
    • Prepare for and facilitate external audit
    • Prepare budgets and ensure they are adhered to
    • Manage payroll
    • Manage monthly and periodic returns
    • Ensure transparency and efficiency of financial processes
    • Respond to queries from customers.

    Person’s Specifications

    • At least 3years’ work experience as an accountant – mandatory
    • At least CPA Part 3 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent
    • Able to demonstrate good management skills
    • Experience with accounting software and competent in MS Office Skills
    • Experience preparing payroll and making statutory payments
    • Must have a good grasp of the returns process
    • Possess good communication skills and is a strong team player
    • Capable of working- under extreme pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Ability to build stakeholder relationships
    • Must have very keen attention to detail.
