    Banking Applications Operations Associate

    Purpose:

    This role is responsible for the planning and daily execution of critical End of Day (EOD) operations including routine tasks such as system resource monitoring and housekeeping. The role is also charged with the responsibility of providing 24/7 IT Support for Core Banking and payment systems to internal, external, and subsidiary customers.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Run End Of Day (EOD) Operations, User Management, Minor bug fixes, config changes, issue testing and resolution, housekeeping, extraction of business reports.
    • Identify and resolve clearing issues on Sybrin CTS such as cheque, EFTs, and Direct Debits queries.
    • Provide support to remittance systems such as Amlock, Swift, Kprinter on RTGS, Telegraphic Transfers.
    • Provide first Level and second level technical support on Finacle core and related banking applications.
    • Identify support gaps to facilitate Continuous Service Improvement initiatives.
    • Identify process gaps and documenting ICT processes.
    • Conduct daily management of customer queries and attending to tickets on CRM & Manage Engine in compliance to set SLA targets.
    • Ensure the transition of projects into production environment is seamless by performing integration testing on new systems and applications.
    • Provide technical input during project initiation workshops.

    Person Specifications

    • A Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or IT related degree.
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

    Assistant Manager – Card Systems Management

    Purpose

    The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain consistent operations of card systems, to ensure services are available to internal and external users. The role ensures that systems upgrade, testing, deployment of new products fulfils business goals and objectives.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Review user account creation & termination in compliance with policies, PCI-DSS and DPA.
    • Work closely with teams to resolve incidences within committed SLAs.
    • Ensure 24/7 support of card system development and operations at Bank and group entities.
    • Originate business setups involving financial institutions, Merchants, IPS, card and device products.
    • Coordinate with Vendors to prepare documents /system architecture.
    • Maintain and support API integrations in Card systems 
    • Maintain log rotations and jointly with stakeholders archive transaction logs.
    • Work closely with teams to resolve technical issues from interconnected systems.
    • Develop tools applicable for data capture and reporting.
    • Work closely with Vendors responding to resolution of incidences during and after implementation of the project.
    • Prepare root cause analysis report on Cards system and present for evaluation and analysis.
    • Regularly review self and reporter on the PSC in line with HR performance program.
    • Track schedule and support CMS application upgrade in compliance with Payment Association Standards (Mandates for VISA/MasterCard etc.)
    • Support Card System changes in the project pipeline, transitioned or retired at Bank or Group entities.
    • Participate in product rollouts, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement at Bank and Group entities.
    • Implement and monitor approved audit recommendations that applies to the operations of Card Systems.
    • Respond to reported audit queries and provide data required of financial reporting for the operations of Card systems.

    Person Specifications

    • A Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or IT related degree.
    • At least 4 years' relevant experience.
    • Professional Certifications (ITIL, Or Prince 2 Project Management, Or UNIX, Or Oracle/SQL DB Administration).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
