    Project Manager –Training & Learning Hub Development

    PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY

    Deliver a concept paper and a framework that will enable the Section to release/raise resources towards realisation of a Training and Learning Hub & Unit.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

    • Develop a project concept-note;
    • Identify key areas of interest, opportunities and establish pertinent links with Operations and OC/PS Learning Units by liaising with other MSF entities in the region and globally.
    • Develop a Training/learning Framework for MSF staff in the region and globally.
    • Identify relevant partners/stakeholders, actors in the area of the Training Unit interests.
    • Develop a job profile for the Head of the Unit.
    • Facilitate the recruitment of the Head of the Training Unit;

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Demonstrated experience in the subject matter including design strategies, skills in pedagogy and experience working in a multifaceted and diverse stakeholders organisation
    • Ability to produce high-quality, succinct reports with clear recommendations.
    • Excellent written and presentation skills across audiences with diverse backgrounds
    • Experience working for an international medical humanitarian or development not-for-profit organisation
    • Experience in working in a multi-cultural, diverse environment and timezones
    • Excellent knowledge of various ways in which people communicate
    • Commitment to and experience of advancing equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace
    • Availability to start working ASAP

    Project Manager – MSF EA Framework Agreement

    PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY

    Deliver a strategy and guideline that will enable the Section to set up a Common framework agreement with MSF movement who interact with MSF EA through hosting and other areas of collaboration/interest.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

    • Develop an engagement strategy and a MoU with all MSF offices interacting with MSF EA;
    • Deliver a guideline with clear stipulations on agreement over resources, capacity, structure and clearly defined principles for a collaboration framework for MSF EA;
    • Identify key stakeholders and provide mechanisms for engagement over different areas (HR/ Services/ Communications/ OPS support etc)
    • Identify and define key resources needed to support and maintain this framework agreement

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Demonstrated experience in the subject matter including management, negotiation capacity, and high-level communication skills in a multifaceted and diverse stakeholders organisation.
    • Complex project management experience.
    • Ability to produce high-quality, succinct reports with clear recommendations.

    Project Manager – Counterterrorism and Security Analyst

    PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY

    Deliver a concept paper and a framework that will enable the Section set up a counterterrorism & security analysis Unit.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

    • Develop a project Concept note
    • Identify key areas of interest and pertinent links with the Operations by liaising with other MSF entities in the region and globally.
    • Develop a security and counterterrorism (SCT) framework and applicable approaches in relation with MSF vision and operations.
    • Identify key relevant stakeholders, actors in the area in SCT in the region and globally.
    • Develop job profiles for the Head of Unit and the Analyst.
    • Identify technical and administrative requirements necessary for a smooth running of the SCT Unit
    • Facilitate the recruitment of the Head of Security and CT Unit and the Analyst of Security and CT Unit.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Demonstrated experience in the subject matter including design strategies in a multifaceted and diverse stakeholders organisation
    • Rich/broad knowledge, network and experience in the region on security management, and related areas.
    • Complex project management experience
    • Ability to produce high quality, succinct reports with clear recommendations.
    • Excellent written and presentation skills across audiences with diverse backgrounds
    • Experience working for an international medical humanitarian or development not for profit organisation
    • Experience in working in a multi-cultural, diverse environment and timezones
    • Excellent knowledge of various ways in which people communicate
