    Orientation Assistant

    As a key member of a People and Culture team, you will play a key role in joining a growing and global leader in combining people and technology to provide workforce solutions for AI/ML and business process optimization projects. This role is responsible for delivering the orientation program for the complete Cloud Workers' experience at CloudFactory in their first phase of ramping up. You will ensure that all our workforce achieves the 'earn, learn and serve' goals which once realised will mean that they are set up for success in both delivering well on multiple workstreams, and growing through learning and serving opportunities.

    You will partner with our Cloud workers to ensure they know where to access ongoing resources, foundational training, opportunities and also partner to plan activities and events that build cohesion and community from the early stage. You will work to establish the basis for everything that follows from the point where Cloud Workers are onboarded till they are handed over to the Community Managers for further engagement. This role is ultimately responsible for ensuring a strong vibrant community across the Cloud workforce during the orientation phase.

    A significant part of this role is focussed on the successful execution of our Workforce TEAM based model - we call this a Toli. We scale the engagement and development of our workforce through small, self-led groups that focus on building community together, coaching each other to perform on workstreams, and ultimately growing as leaders together. You will therefore have the responsibility for inviting the CloudWorkers to form Tolis, coach and develop the Tolis and the Toli Leaders to help them become self-led Tolis, and you will be responsible for the effective resourcing of these groups with information about where to access learning programs and workstreams, and the interaction and collaboration between Toli’s.

    You will:

    1. Be responsible for coordinating the experience of orientation for the Cloud Workers from the moment they enter the waiting pool and for the time it takes to complete the earn, learn and serve the objective of their orientation phase.
    2. Be responsible for delivering the foundational training relating to Cloud Workers orientation (in partnership with the Learning Team) and ensuring that Cloud Workers experience a strong sense of community as they join in.
    3. Ensure that all new Cloud Workers complete the orientation program which has a collection of clear objectives and goals.
    4. Be responsible for the set up of Toli’s to ensure that all Cloud Workers are assigned to Tolis and the Tolis are set up for success (to be self-managing and self-led by the end of their orientation phase).
    5. Be responsible for ensuring the overall successful completion of earn, learn and serve orientation outcomes
    6. Be responsible for the coaching and development of the Toli leaders (Cloud Workers) during the orientation phase.
    7. Be responsible for community-related initiatives and community involvement for those on the orientation program in both the social community within CloudFactory and also engaging with the local community outside of CloudFactory.
    8. Ensure there are meaningful and engaging events (learning and social) for the workers during their orientation phase.
    9. Assist in continual upgrading of the design and development of the orientation experience.
    10. Assist in establishing a strong partnership with our delivery department to ensure effective onboarding of workers to workstreams.
    11. Assist in planning and executing all live events in the orientation program

    Requirements

    1. 1-2 years of experience leading and delivering orientation programs for large groups.
    2. 1-2 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, or training is required.
    3. Understanding of what it takes to deliver outstanding customer service.
    4. Experience in working and building relationships with diverse stakeholders
    5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    6. Experience working in and managing teams working on community development projects would be advantageous.
    7. Knowledge of analytics and data reporting is an added advantage
    8. Fluent in business-level English.
    9. University degree - preferably in social science or related field

    Partner Services Manager

    CloudFactory is constantly expanding the different tools that we work with within our ecosystem. The introduction of a Partner Services Manager as a technical peer to our Service Delivery Managers is designed to address those technical questions that come up during our Workstream lifecycle or in pre-sales analysis that only a technical subject matter expert can cover. You will work with a cross-functional team to execute the resulting enablement plan, leading the development and execution of a curriculum covering product, industry, technical, and soft skills training programs. You will have an in-depth understanding of the pre-sales engineer (Solution Engineer) team roles, an understanding of the partner tooling software, and a track record of driving scalability and repeatability in enablement. We work with a vast range of partner tools geared towards ML and CV work, you help us in maintaining our knowledge centers, training(s), and other technical troubleshooting that is required.

    Responsibilities

    1. You will be expected to serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all technical domains core to CloudFactory’s offerings that utilize partner SaaS tools with a primary focus of training and enablement for our Delivery teams.
    2. We need someone who is familiar with the tools we're using and also capable of doing things themselves. If someone is having an issue with understanding a tool, you’ll get your hands dirty and jump in to show them how to use the tool properly. These tools include labeling solutions for 2D images, 2D video, and 3D Point Clouds, as well as solutions for audio and documentation annotation, OCR, NLP, and translation.

    There are four main components to the role which are broken down into the following areas:

    Pre Sales:

    1. Tooling capability and scope validation
    2. Custom FaaS evaluation, data pipeline, and workflow solutions

    Post Sales:

    1. Day to day operational support around tool performance:
    2. Responding to tool queries
    3. Validating the impact of the issues
    4. Raising tickets along with appropriate prioritization
    5. Escalating issues if and when required
    6. Provide support during Client-facing meetings and communications
    7. Training/walkthrough around the tools for operational teams
    8. Contribute to feature request prioritization
    9. Contribute to Tool performance monitoring and evaluation
    10. Reports on usage hours and storage details for billing

    Enablement:

    1. Training and enablement for all required users
    2. Cross collaboration with BI, L&D to help them understand the partner tool capabilities and setup

    Strategy:

    1. Collaboration with Channel and Partnership team on evaluating partners
    2. Accessing tools and reviewing features
    3. Understanding channel partners pipeline
    4. Provide suggestions on SLA’s with partner tools
    5. Collaborate with partner tools on new releases
    6. Collaborate with Tooling Lab to Channelize the product feedback and feature requests to partner tools

    Requirements

    1. Ability to think outside the box for creative solutions to complex issues and for the support of decision-making
    2. Outstanding organizational skills and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
    3. Experience in a client-facing role delivering or supporting the delivery of services or products
    4. Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills with demonstrated team-building experience.
    5. Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
    6. Open and welcoming to change, and ability to work comfortably in a constantly evolving environment.
    7. Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions.
    8. Ability to engage in strategic thinking and decision-making beyond the project level.
    9. Demonstrates the capability to stay aligned with where the overall market and partner ecosystem is in terms of technical solutions and evolutions of current offerings.
    10. Capability to build and maintain all training and enablement content related to our partner ecosystem.

    Experience

    1. Minimum of 5 years proven experience in scaling and building partner enablement service departments for a variety of tools whilst acting as the SME and main point of contact
    2. Good understanding of ML and CV tools, processes, and capabilities
    3. Experience in working with partners and building documentation, managing a pipeline, and becoming an SME in the relevant tools
    4. Proven experience in building up team members and contributing to process improvements.
    5. Technical background in pre-sales analysis and engineering is highly desirable
    6. Basic understanding of Python & JSON scripting.
    7. Basic experience of using any video editing software like Camtasia, Openshot, Windows Video editor, etc.
    8. Knowledge of and experience of workflows within the AI/ML & CV industries.
