The Partnership and Policy Specialist is accountable for developing, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating partnership, advocacy, and communication strategies to achieve HIAS Kenya's goals of advocacy, localization, and partnership. The candidate will be responsible for the identification, engagement and support of local stakeholders based on HIAS’ strategic roadmap to localization. The position’s purpose is also to support the senior management in deepening collaboration with key stakeholders and helping to provide an interface for knowledge exchange and resource mobilization.
The position is based in Nairobi, Kenya with the possibility of travel to areas where HIAS has programmatic reach.

HIAS seeks to recruit a Gender & GBV Officer who will be expected to implement designed strategies on prevention and response to Gender Based Violence (GBV) amongst refugees in Kenya. HIAS uses a survivor-centered, community-based approach. Our programs consider the voices and needs of survivors and prioritize their leadership in program design and implementation. HIAS works with communities’ natural systems to optimize support for survivors, building partnerships to promote and protect the rights of survivors, women, girls, and LGBTQ+ persons.. The officer will be responsible for contributing to the timely and quality implementation of GBV-related activities and GBV case management for the urban refugee community.
