  • People & Culture Executive – IT

    • The purpose of this role is to oversee and ensure the smooth running of the HR department as well as design, develop and implement policies that drive the company culture. Working closely with the head of departments, the People & Culture Executive is required to build the people and culture capability of the organization effectively; lead and manage an effective human resources function to support the management of the employee lifecycle; and contribute to broader organizational and strategic management. The position also has a key role as an ambassador for organizational culture and values, ensuring they are visible, embedded, and upheld.

    Key Responsibilities

    STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP

    • Develop and execute the company’s People and Culture strategy.
    • Contribute to developing and achieving the company’s medium and long-term strategy, ensuring effective inclusion of key people and cultural considerations.
    • High-level analysis of key people data and trends in support of strategic priorities, advising an appropriate course of action as required.
    • Design and develop programs for the continuous learning of all team members.

    ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT & CULTURE

    • Contribute to the development of a robust culture through role modelling the company’s core values and the behaviours which drive this culture
    • Design and lead initiatives including research and diagnostics (e.g. annual employee engagement survey and exit interviews), to maximize the engagement of all employees and build organizational commitment to the desired culture
    • Work in partnership with the Marketing and Communications team on effective internal communications

    TALENT MANAGEMENT

    • Develop a focused job design aligned to a structured Workforce Plan and Framework
    • Ensure a clear Employee Value Proposition in support of candidate attraction
    • Ensure best practices, innovative methods and processes relating to the recruitment, selection and onboarding
    • Development of formal induction process and procedures
    • Develop workforce and succession planning processes.

    PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

    • Build a culture of performance across the organization with oversight and continued development of the Performance Review & Development framework
    • In conjunction with the Executive Team, ensure all Learning and Development is strategically linked to organizational needs and aligned to performance reviews and business planning processes
    • Develop and update the company’s Learning Program each year after the Performance Review process
    • Create a leadership development framework to maximize leadership capability and embed a coaching culture in support of delivering on strategy outcomes.

    HR MANAGEMENT

    • Responsible for the effective operations of all normal People & Culture activities to support the management of the employee lifecycle including: Maintaining employment records to meet compliance obligations, Compiling and Filing of statutory returns, On-boarding/ off-boarding employees
    • Effectively manage the Human Capital needs of the company. Work closely with the Head of Departments to ensure the right placement of employees in key positions.
    • Internal and external organizational reporting (i.e. Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to Business Plan KPIs, Executive Team Reporting, Board Reporting etc.)
    • Assist the Head of Departments with planning, budgets and reporting, including evaluating People & Culture results and trends.

    Qualification:

    • A degree or relevant qualification in HR;
    • Minimum of 1 year experience as a People & Culture executive.
    • Minimum of 2+ years of HR experience in the above areas.
    • Prior experience working in the Tech industry shall be a plus.
    • Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, and knowledge of Kenyan Labor/employment laws & HR practices.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative without direct supervision.
    • Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.

    Internal Auditor – FMCG

    • Our client is seeking to hire an Internal Auditor who will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization. This role involves conducting internal audits, assessing financial and operational processes, and providing recommendations to enhance efficiency and compliance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Risk Assessment: Evaluate and identify potential risks in various business operations and provide recommendations to improve risk management practices.
    • Compliance Audit: Conduct comprehensive audits to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and implement control measures to prevent future non-compliance incidents.
    • Operational Efficiency: Assess and enhance operational processes and controls to improve efficiencies and overall effectiveness and provide recommendations to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

    • Inventory Verification: Verify the accuracy of inventory records through physical counts and reconciliations with the company’s records and give recommendations on how to solve the inventory discrepancies and control measures on any potential losses.
    • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Assess the financial performance, liquidity, and profitability, providing insights to management about potential financial risks or opportunities.
    • Fraud Detection and Prevention: Play a role in detecting and preventing fraud within the organization. Assess the company’s anti-fraud measures, conduct investigations when necessary, and recommend improvements to strengthen fraud prevention efforts.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, preferably within the FMCG industry.
    • Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be considered an asset.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Proficient in using audit software and data analytics tools.
    • Solid understanding of risk assessment techniques and internal control frameworks.
    • High ethical standards and professionalism.

    Senior Accountant-Dairy

    • They seek to hire a Senior Accountant who will manage and perform daily accounting tasks that will support their financial team

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To be the point of contact for finance in all operations, sales reporting, expenditure analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial accountability.
    • Carry out monthly executive reporting on milk rate computation, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue improvement.
    • Verification of payment vouchers and reconciliation of discrepancies within the books of accounts.
    • Responsible for the preparation and presentation of monthly management reports.
    • Responsible for the preparation of the annual budget statement and performing monthly variance reviews.

    • Strong experience of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.

    Pre-Sales Executive – IT

    • You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling strategies that showcase our products/services, addressing client needs and challenges.

    Responsibilities

    • Working closely with Sales to ensure the successful closure of the sales process.
    • Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals such that they meet the client’s requirements.
    • Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFIs & and RFPs.

    Qualification and Skills

    • A bachelor’s Degree in any major is preferable.
    • Minimum 2 years of working experience, having sales experience in the software industry will be an advantage.
    • Prior experience in selling or working for a PAN African market is a plus.
    • Bilingual candidates, English and French-speaking.
    • Must be able to communicate professionally in written responses.
    • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders.
    • Hands-on experience in working with Microsoft Office.
