    Product Manager – Enterprise Document Management

    • The Product Manager – Enterprise Document Management is responsible for shaping and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Equity Group’s enterprise document and records management system, driving the transition to a paperless organization.   
    • The Product Manager – Enterprise Digitization will be responsible for shaping and executing the Enterprise applications/product vision and strategy that accelerates Equity Group’s digital transformation agenda in alignment with the Africa Recovery and Resilience Plan (ARRP).  
    • Reporting to the Sr. Product Manager, this role will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of innovative, scalable, and inclusive products that empower customers, enhance operational efficiency, and drive sustainable growth across Equity Group’s markets.  

    THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Product Management:  

    • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for document management and paperless process products, including requirements definition, feature prioritization, and roadmap planning.  
    • Drive adoption and integration of digital signature, workflow automation, and document capture technologies (Example: Docusign, Newgen OmniDocs, Omiscan).  
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions across business units.  
    • Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product enhancements and process improvements.  
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and operational standards for document management and digital processes.  

    Stakeholder Collaboration:  

    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into actionable product features.  
    • Communicate product vision, updates, and releases to internal teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.  

    Documentation & Reporting:   

    • Coordinate with IT and development teams to deliver integrations and feature enhancements. 
    • Document product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for all features and enhancements.  
    • Prepare regular reports on project progress, product performance, and user feedback for management and stakeholders.   

    Continuous Improvement:    

    • Identify opportunities for process automation and workflow optimization within document management and paperless processes.  
    • Evaluate and implement new features and technologies to improve user experience and operational efficiency

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS    

    • 3+ years of experience in product management, 5 years overall experience, ideally within banking, fintech, or enterprise IT environments.  
    • Experience delivering document management and paperless solutions in regulated environments.  
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.  
    • Hands-on experience with Agile (Scrum, SAFe) methodologies.

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS 

    • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).  
    • Certifications in Product Management, Change Management, Agile methodologies including but not limited to /Scrum/SAFe certifications is a plus.

    Manager: Market, Liquidity and Insurance Risk

    • This role ensures that risk exposures are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and mitigated to enable sustainable growth, enhance resilience in diverse African markets, and support the ARRP’s goals of capacitating value chains, expanding trade, and driving economic transformation in East and Central Africa.

    THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Market Risk Management
    • Maintain the Group Market Risk Management Framework and policies covering banking book and trading book exposures for the Bank and market/asset liability exposures for the Insurance Group.
    • Ensure alignment with:
    • Basel III/IV market risk standards (Bank)
    • IFRS 17 investment risk requirements (Insurance)
    • Central bank and insurance regulatory guidelines
    • Develop and oversee methodologies for:
    • Value at Risk (VaR), Expected Shortfall (ES)
    • Sensitivity analysis (PV01, DV01, FX & IR sensitivities)
    • Interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB): EVE and NII sensitivity
    • Equity and property investment risk (Insurance)
    • Duration, convexity, and ALM mismatches
    • Monitor compliance with market risk appetite and limits:
    • FX position limits
    • Interest rate risk limits
    • Trading book VaR/ES limits
    • Investment portfolio limits for Insurance entities
    • Identify emerging market and liquidity risks: FX volatility, interest rate shocks, credit spread widening, equity downturns.
    • Produce monthly and quarterly market risk reports for Group ALCO, Insurance investments committees and Board Risk Committee
    • Liquidity Risk Management
    • Maintain the Group Liquidity Risk Framework and policies, ensuring banking and insurance requirements are clearly differentiated.
    • Ensure alignment with:
    • LCR, NSFR, ILAAP expectations (Bank)
    • Liquidity coverage, stress scenarios, and cashflow matching per insurance regulations (Insurance)
    • Support Group wide liquidity stress testing across both the Bank and Insurance entities, incorporating:
    • Market wide stress
    • Name specific stress.
    • Combined stress
    • Large policyholders surrender risk (Insurance)
    • Loss of wholesale funding (Bank)
    • ICAAP and Enterprise-wide Stress Testing
    • Support the ICAAP framework, calendar, and end‑to‑end production across entities and the Group.
    • Align ICAAP with business plan, risk appetite, and recovery options, ensuring credible capital trajectories and buffers.
    • Coordinate cross‑functional contributions (Finance, Treasury, Credit, Market Risk, Model Risk, Strategy) and drive a strong use test (ICAAP informs decisions
    • Design and maintain a Group stress testing policy and methodology (top‑down and bottom‑up), with severe‑but‑plausible scenarios.
    • Calibrate macro paths (GDP, inflation, rates, FX, unemployment) and satellite models linking macro factors to losses, NII/EVE, RWA, capital, liquidity, and earnings. strategies and stakeholder needs.

    IT Change Configuration Management & Monitoring Officer

    • The IT Change Configuration Management & Monitoring Officer is responsible for day-to-day execution, coordination and administration of all change and release processes across the Group. The role ensures proper logging, categorization, documentation, compliance, scheduling, validation and communication of changes.
    • It also supports release cycles by ensuring that deployment packages, release documentation and approvals are complete, accurate and compliant with Group Change & Release Management frameworks. This role acts as the operational engine of Change & Release Governance across all EGH subsidiaries.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Configuration Management (CMDB) Governance
    • Support in Group-wide Configuration Management governance and ensure CMDB accuracy across all subsidiaries towards change governance process.
    • Maintain configuration items (CIs), relationships, service maps and dependency models.
    • Define and enforce CMDB data quality rules, standards, lifecycle controls and update processes.
    • Govern CI onboarding, updates, retirement and auditing processes.
    • Ensure CMDB is fully integrated with Change, Incident, Problem and Release Management.
    • Perform periodic CMDB reconciliation against discovery tools, infrastructure inventories and application lists.
    • Lead CMDB audits and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory expectations.
    • Manage configuration baselines for critical systems (Core business systems, Digital Channels, Cybersecurity, Network).
    • Monitoring & Automation Governance
    • Lead monitoring automation strategy to improve visibility, alerting and proactive risk detection.
    • Work with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network and Cybersecurity teams to automate monitoring of critical assets.
    • Ensure reliability and completeness of monitoring dashboards and alerting mechanisms.
    • Manage monitoring tool governance (e.g., SolarWinds, Logrythm, Dynatrace,etc.).
    • Validate monitoring coverage for major changes, releases and new system deployments.
    • Change Governance Integration
    • Provide impact assessment insights using configuration dependencies and service maps.
    • Ensure all changes update the CMDB appropriately and accurately.
    • Validate that rollback plans and implementation plans reflect correct configuration relationships.
    • Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
    • Drive automation initiatives that enhance visibility, reduce manual errors and improve operational efficiency.
    • Conduct configuration-related risk assessments and remediation tracking.
    • Lead capability-building and training for configuration and monitoring automation practices.
    • Work with vendors and partners to enhance CMDB, monitoring and automation tooling capabilities.
    • Reporting & Stakeholder Management
    • Produce CMDB data quality dashboards, monitoring automation scorecards and governance KPIs.
    • Provide insights to Change Control Manager and IT Leadership on configuration risks and control gaps.
    • Present CMDB and monitoring compliance updates in governance forums and audit engagements 

    Key Technical Skills & leadership competencies 

    Technical Competencies

    • Strong expertise in ITIL v4 Configuration & Monitoring practices.
    • Hands-on experience with CMDB, discovery tools and automation platforms.
    • Knowledge of monitoring systems (SolarWinds, Logythrym , Dynatrace,etc.).
    • Understanding of ITSM processes (Change, Incident, Problem, Release)
    • Knowledge of dependency mapping, service topology and asset lifecycle management.
    • Infrastructure, network and cloud architecture awareness.

    Academic qualifications and certifications
