We are looking for a Restaurant Manager, a Restaurant manager for one of our high-end Restaurants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the restaurant. He/she will also ensure that the restaurant and kitchen are operated in conformity with the highest possible professional standards.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Management and Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate the service team.
- Conduct daily briefings to facilitate communication, training, and policy updates.
- Schedule staff rotations and duties, arranging extra help as needed.
- Maintain discipline and conduct staff appraisals.
- Resolve guest and staff complaints and grievances.
- Represent the restaurant in Food and Beverage meetings.

- Customer Service and Training
- Train the team to provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure staff have thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings and SOPs.
- Analyze bar stock profitability and make recommendations.
- Conduct regular appraisals of the F & B staff.
- Coordinate the operations of various sections of the main restaurant.
- Handle guest and staff complaints and take corrective measures.
- Suggest improvements to the Food & Beverage Services Manager.
- Work with the team to meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Fulfill any other duties delegated by the General Manager.
Qualifications And Education Required
- Relevant Degree/ diploma.
- The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of management experience in a fine dining setup.
- 3 Years of working experience as a Restaurant Manager.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Extensive knowledge and passion for food, beverage, and industry trends. Capable of effectively and efficiently delegating multiple tasks Well-organized and detailed-oriented Have a high degree of emotional intelligence and self-confidence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a distributed team of DevOps Engineers.
- Automate and run the build, test, and deployment of our software in AWS
- Provide guidance to development teams to improve performance and operability of the solutions they develop.
- The DevOps Team Lead will lead a distributed team of colleagues and consultants in Kenya, Tanzania, China, UK, USA and elsewhere.
- CircleTech delivers a 24hour service to customers. The DevOps Team Lead may be required to work overnight and weekends to resolve urgent technical incidents or to make changes at a time that causes least disruption to customers.
- Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related build processes.
- Implement monitoring tools to detect issues, measure performance and provide telemetry for developers.
- Build automated testing to reduce manual effort and improve product quality.
- Ensure that systems meet business and customer needs for reliability and availability by designing and building infrastructure that delivers high uptime using high-availability designs and self-healing systems
- Develop operational dashboards and alarms and monitor performance and capacity and introduce solutions to maintain service levels.
- Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and catch and solve issues before release

- Ability to motivate and coach junior DevOps Engineers.
