    Safety, Environmental and Security Manager

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Design and deliver SES procedures and management system.
    • Conduct risk assessment process (FMEA, Health and Safety risks, Environmental aspects, and impacts) to mitigate risk.
    • Conduct and respond to health and safety assessment/analysis in the plant to minimize health and safety risks.
    • Establish the correct and safe methods of operations across the company by routinely reviewing safety and sustainability results with plant personnel to maximize facility performance.
    • Come up and ensure compliance with the appropriate OSHA standards to be applied in the use of the company assets
    • Advice management on appropriate measures and standards for the safety of company assets.
    • Coordinate and communicate findings of internal and external audits to management, and ensure conformance is addressed and corrected according to schedule.
    • Ensure facility compliance with applicable regulations.
    • Coordinate and oversee the performance of security teams attached to Burn.
    • Liaise/Point person on matters to do with SES both internally and externally (NEMA, county government well as Central government)
    • Any other duties are directed by the supervisor.

    Skills And Experience

    • Degree in Occupation Health and Safety.
    • Must have worked in a busy manufacturing factory for a minimum of 10 years, 5 of which need to be at the managerial level in the Safety department.
    • A strong personality and a great communicator.
    • Conversant with sheet metal industry.
    • Through knowledge of sheet metal presses, lasers spot welders, etc
    • Ability to train operators and technicians on how to carry out tasks correctly

    Tooling Technician

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Carrying out preventive maintenance of sheet metal tools, jigs, and fixtures
    • Attending to production tool breakdowns and repairs.
    • Responsible for tool building, fitting, and assembly
    • Working with NPI and NPD to audit and test new tools
    • Participating in tools production tests in collaboration with NPI and NPD
    • Training press operators on tools and best practices
    • Working with Quality Control to ensure tools conform to the specifications
    • Commissioning new tools for production
    • Participate in continuous improvements for tools designs
    • Preparation of tools SOPs and reports documentation

    Skills And Experience

    • 3+ Years’ experience in a busy tooling workshop
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings
    • Ability to operate mechanical workshop machines – Lathe, milling, and surface grinder
    • Excellent hands-on skills in using hand tools and bench fitting
    • Mechanical engineering background
    • Action-oriented
    • Mechanical aptitude, ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
    • Well organized
    • Works well in a team.
