    Sales Executive - BYD

    Responsibilities

    Operational Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular field visits to prospect for clients in order to generate sales and gather market information to assist in planning and decision making;
    • Actively follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from showroom, field activities and promotions to build prospects and close sales;
    • Prepare quotations in a timely manner in line with CFAO Mobility guidelines to assist close sales in a timely manner;
    • Create sales orders in the system to facilitate timely invoicing
    • Prepare sales calls programs for appointment bookings with prospective clients to facilitate sales plans;
    • Maintain regular contact with clients to promote retention and generate referrals and new business opportunities;
    • Consistently update customers on sales order progress, respond and resolve customer queries in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and retention;
    • Advise clients on finance packages available through partner financial institutions (banks), and assist the clients in filling the required documentation to ensure the sales deals are closed;
    • Liaise with Finance to ensure payment terms are clearly agreed and communicated to the customer, and proper finance documentation, to minimise customer complaints and enhance the closing of sales deals;
    • Follow up on vehicle registration documents including logbooks to ensure the documentation is availed to the customer in a timely manner for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention;
    • Actively participate in promotional and customer training activities to market the company’s products and services to increase product awareness for enhanced sales;
    • Provide information to management and the marketing team on market intelligence to assist garner information required to develop aggressive marketing and sales strategies for the BYD brands;
    • Submit accurate weekly deliveries and order intake data to the Sales Manager to keep track of the monthly sales targets as per budget;
    • Support in the unit ordering process to ensure optimal stock holding at all times;

    Qualifications

    • Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role
    • Degree in sales and marketing or other relevant field
    • Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role
    • 3-5 years’ working experience in sales in the automotive industry
    • Experience in and knowledge of Electric Vehicles will be an added advantage
    • Experience in leasing will be an added advantage

    Sales Supervisor - Sinotruk

    JOB PURPOSE 

    • This role is responsible for supervising and driving the performance of the Sinotruk sales team to achieve agreed sales volumes, revenue, and market share targets in Kenya. The role focuses on execution of sales strategies, people management, customer relationship management, and market development within Nairobi and assigned territories, in line with company policies and local market dynamics

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB 

    Managerial/Supervisory

    • Formulate and implement sales strategies to drive the realization of the department sales targets
    • Prepare and submit sales budgets and the monthly rundown report as per CFAO Mobility guidelines to assist enhance and monitor performance
    • Prepare and submit expense budgets to ensure the allocation of sufficient resources critical for the implementation of the department sales plans
    • Monitor the utilization of resources to avoid wastage (Resource Management)
    • Supervise, coach, and motivate Sales Executives to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.  Coordinate performance management for the department to ensure high performance and retention of staff
    • Conduct regular field visits, and performance reviews
    • Identify training needs and support continuous development of the sales team
    • Coordinate credit management in the department to ensure minimal bad debts
    • Drive sales of Sinotruk commercial vehicles in line with monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
    • Initiate and nurture relationships with customers and other key stakeholders to ensure CFAO Mobility receives the support required in the achievement of set targets
    • Coordinate the operations of the department for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of service
    • Monitor the utilization of demo units assigned to the department to ensure full compliance with the CFAO Mobility guidelines

    Operational Responsibilities

    • Conduct business prospecting to ensure the achievement of the monthly order intake and sales targets for the department
    • Carry out weekly follow through of the sales process for vehicle sales orders and liaise with various departments to ensure lead times are adhered to
    • Approve customer vehicle orders to ensure timely processing of the sale
    • Give approvals and confirm price levels and discounts to customers to ensure prices are competitive and protect CFAO Mobility against possible loss
    • Sign off Delivery Note/Gate Passes to ensure payment terms are complied with and invoices are properly prepared before sign off
    • Check and approve proposals for promotions and promotional items to ensure value for money, cost and quality
    • Follow up on debtors and report to the management to ensure appropriate strategies are employed to recover monies owed to CFAO Mobility

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or relevant field from a recognized institution.
    • Diploma in Sales and Marketing from a recognized institution
    • Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role
    • 8 years or relevant working experience in the automotive industry, with 2 years of experience in a sales management position in a company of comparable size.

    BYD Sales Coordinator

    JOB PURPOSE 

    • This position is responsible for the provision of support to the BYD team on day-to-day business operations, to ensure timely processing of customer orders. The position is also responsible for accurate processing of orders and invoices, vehicle logistics, logging and filing of documentation and contracts as well as updating sales and customer records and developing monthly sales reports.
    • Ultimately uphold and continuously improve the customer experience standard, ensuring that every touchpoint is handled with precision, professionalism, and speed.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB 
    Operational Responsibilities 

    • Answer all customer calls and enquiries
    • Attend to all enquiries on tender promptly and accurately for enhanced customer satisfaction.
    • Management of records for the department i.e. warranty documents, demo vehicles agreements, client feedback reports on demo, clients’ vehicles files, showroom keys & accessories record.
    • Create a file (both soft and hard copy) for every vehicle delivered gathering the key documents as indicated on the sales SOP.
    • Follow-up on new vehicle (BYD) registration, vehicle accessories and logbooks dispatch to customer.
    • Custodian of all spare keys and logbooks
    • Effectively manage and report on stock reports, stock reconciliations, managing vehicle movements from Bond/GLC, handling stock discrepancies & reconciliation of accessories that come with the car. Receive vehicles from GLC and keep the required documents.
    • Adhere to the FIFO system and verify required payment received when allocating BYD models except where an approval is given.
    • Prepare timely quotations for branches, dealers & agents, and accurate sales reports to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the sales process;
    • Regularly update customers on sales order progress, respond and resolve customer queries in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and retention;
    • Follow up with customers on warranty booklets to ensure full compliance with CFAO Mobility guidelines on warranty management;
    •  Fixing and scheduling maintenance appointments for customers
    • Requisition for stationery to ensure minimal disruptions to business operations due to stock outs;
    • Archive records for the department to ensure records are kept in a safe manner, and are easy to retrieve when required for decision making purposes
    • Custodian of the Fleet Register (logbooks & keys) to monitor movement and maintain accountability.
    • In a Teamwork mindset, be available for any task out of this scope & that can be done during the working hours to support any other departments to support the BYD Team

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum level of academic and professional  qualification required to perform effectively in the role
    • Degree in a business-related field from a recognized university.
    • Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role
    • 3 years of experience in administration or in a relevant position from a reputable organization.
