    Up Country Sales Rep

    Summary

    We are currently seeking 3 experienced and talented Sales Reps (South Rift, Nyanza, Central) to join our dynamic team. In this position, the incumbent will provide the Company with increased sales productivity, meet revenue and cash collection targets, ensure brand visibility, Lead the team in your region, manage account relationships and ensure the company is the market leader, across categories, in all accounts, in terms of sales, visibility and availability.

    Sales Rep JD

    • Ability to Build and maintain good client relationships while pursuing and attaining sales targets
    • Attain Sales targets as defined in the Monthly budget Servicing client accounts
    • Establish new accounts
    • Customer service and resolve customer complaints
    • Prepare periodical reports
    • Maintain a database on clients and sales activities
    • Meet Volume, Revenue, profitability and collection targets aligned to the annual budget to be evaluated periodically.
    • Develop targeted road maps for maximizing revenue from all revenue verticals
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    • Build and maintain good relationships with existing clients that would translate to repeat business.
    • Plan and organize daily/weekly work schedule to call on and visit potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
    • Carry out reference checks on new clients.
    • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports: Actual Vs Targets with office assistance.

    Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

    • Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in FMCG sales
    • MUST have a valid Driving License –Class BCE
    • Good understanding of basic computer skills
    • Demonstrable customer service skills/relationship building
    • Great sales attitude 
    •  Thorough knowledge of Central, South Rift, Nyanza and its environs
    •  Flexibility on location

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure the Master roll is updated
    • Implementing and revising company’s compensation program
    • Ensure all the company rules and regulations are followed and adhered to.
    • Creating and revising job descriptions
    • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
    • Conducting annual salary surveys
    • Developing, analyzing, and updating the company’s salary budget
    • Developing, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation program
    • Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
    • Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
    • Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
    • Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
    • Overseeing exit interviews
    • Maintaining department records and reports
    • Participating in administrative staff meetings
    • Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
    • Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
    • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

    • Ensure proper filling is done for all employee documents and ensure employee files are updated.

    • Handle employee terminations, grievance and other difficult situations in a sensitive, fair and respectful manner, working closely with supervisors and reference to employment act.
    • Budgeting and providing summary of allocation of resources for management review
    • Managing employee’s procedures in relation to recruitment, training, leaves and appraisals, ensuring these are properly documented, and advise on relevant policies.
    • Preparation of casual payments.
    • Drafting new employees’ contracts and ensuring they understand the contracts before signing.

    Accountant

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Inventory postings - Local and Imports
    • Receiving, recording, and posting of bills and invoices into the system upon receipt i.e. Utility, security, rent, 
    • Telephone, internet, parcel bills, and motor vehicles among others.
    • Bounced cheques and bank charges entries
    • Bank Reconciliation
    • Customer Reconciliations
    • Preparing and processing of payments to suppliers within agreed timelines
    • Registering of W/VAT and income tax deducted from the supplier payment on I-Tax for payment
    • Recording cheque details onto the Cheque register before dispatching/collection by the payee
    • Allocation of payments against invoices on sage-Payables
    • Reconciliation of supplier accounts/statements
    • Extracting withholding VAT Certificates from ITax for posting and allocation
    • Stamping and writing of paid invoices and bills. 
    • Maintaining and updating of all physical files 
    • Maintenance and updating of supplier register
    • Support the Audit/Compliance review exercises
    • Performing any other duties and functions as may be assigned by the HOD/Management from time to time
    • Experience with Sage Software is desirable
    • Excellent Computer Skills Required
    • Itax experience for returns filing, etc

    Qualifications

    • University Degree Preferable
    • CPA Two Minimum
    • Minimum 3 years experience
