    Store Manager

    ROLE SUMMARY

    • The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of all assigned tasks within the store while driving retail operations to maximize sales, profitability and effective stock management. The role is accountable for delivering a best-in-class customer experience (NPS) and achieving sustainable business growth. Additionally, the Store Manager leads people development initiatives by building strong second-line leadership, effectively managing retail operations, fostering employee engagement and retaining talent within the store.

    ROLE PROFILE

    • Drive sales performance by maximizing revenue opportunities and ensuring smooth and accurate transaction management within the store.
    • Lead workforce planning by ensuring adequate resource availability to effectively serve customers and manage store traffic flow.
    • Develop and empower teams through continuous training, skill enhancement and capability building to meet current and future business challenges.
    • Foster a safe, engaged and high-performing work environment by promoting health & safety standards, employee engagement, and talent retention.
    • Strengthen customer relationships by understanding customer preferences, improving customer experience (NPS), driving retention and ensuring customer safety.
    • Ensure flawless execution of all in-store service initiatives, including marketing, human capital, digital operations and customer experience programs.
    • Oversee retail operations by managing stock, shrinkage, waste, promotions, order fulfillment, omnichannel operations, store maintenance, sustainability and operational cost control to support EBITDA growth.
    • Drive commercial excellence through data-driven decision-making, strong business acumen, competitive market awareness and effective time management within the store.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Commerce, Marketing or a related field, with relevant retail operations experience preferred.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach, motivate, develop and retain high-performing teams.
    • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer experience and relationship management.
    • Strong commercial and operational knowledge, including sales growth, inventory management, merchandising, shrinkage control and omnichannel retail operations.
    • Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret business data and drive operational improvements.
    • Sound understanding of financial management, health & safety standards, compliance, organizational planning and cost control within a retail environment.

    Commercial Associate (Category Manager)

    ROLE SUMMARY

    • The Category Manager is responsible for the full commercial performance of assigned product categories, including sales growth, margin optimization, assortment planning, supplier negotiations and inventory management. This role directly impacts store profitability and customer value proposition.

    ROLE PROFILE

    • Develop and execute the category strategy to achieve sales growth, margin and market share targets.
    • Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, including pricing, rebates, promotional funding and contract terms.
    • Manage category P&L performance, ensuring optimal balance between revenue growth and profitability.
    • Define and optimize product assortment (SKU mix) based on customer insights, sales data and competitive analysis.
    • Drive pricing architecture and promotional planning to maximize traffic, basket size, and gross margin.
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure strong inventory management, minimize stock-outs and improve stock turnover.
    • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

    Team Leader - Butchery

    ROLE SUMMARY

    • Team Leader - Butchery is responsible for implementing quality, range and freshness standards to facilitate an exceptional customer experience in order to achieve set sales targets. The team Leader is key a motivator ensuring all team members are working optimally, and that any problems are addressed immediately so that they do not impact customer service.

    ROLE PROFILE

    • Drive commercial performance by implementing pricing strategies, managing product assortment, and executing promotional activities to enhance sales and profitability.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction (NPS) and implement improvement initiatives to enhance the overall shopping experience.
    • Oversee stock management, including inventory control, replenishment planning, stock reporting, and ensuring optimal stock levels.
    • Minimize waste and shrinkage by implementing control measures, tracking waste reports, and improving stock handling processes.
    • Manage merchandising standards by ensuring correct product placement, pricing accuracy, and adherence to planograms.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and security standards to safeguard employees, customers, and company assets.
    • Lead and develop the team by scheduling staff, monitoring performance, providing training, and supporting new hires.
    • Deliver excellent customer service by resolving customer issues, promoting products, and fostering a strong customer-centric culture within the team.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in commerce or finance.
    • 3+ years in a supervisory role within butchery operations in retail or meat processing environments.
    • Carcass breakdown and meat cutting (beef, lamb, poultry).
    • Hygiene and food safety compliance (HACCP standards).
    • Meat freshness assessment and shelf-life management.
    • Stock handling (receiving, storage, and rotation – FIFO).
