    Primary School Teacher

    OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

    • The position is responsible for teaching and while offering holistic development, proper discipline, appropriate skills and social abilities to enable optimum development of pupils.
    • The position provides responsibility for exam materials – report books, evaluation records, class register, record book, lesson note books, record of work, schemes of work.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

    • Implementation of integrated curriculum.
    • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting student’s progress.
    • In charge of school weekly duties.
    • In-charge of class co –curricular activities
    • Pastoral Care, Discipline, Guidance and Counseling
    • A role model, mentor of other teachers and a guardian to pupils.
    • Conduct any other duties assigned that is related to the profession.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum of P1 Certificate from Kenya National Examination Council. 
    • Registered with the TSC.
    • Must have solid training and experience in teaching Competence Based Curriculum (CBC).
    • Proficiency in English & Kiswahili; both written and spoken and technologically savvy.
    • Must be willing to work in any of MOHI’s Centers across the country.

    High School Teacher

    OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

    • The position is responsible for developing schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives, developing the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable optimum development of children and facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students through organization of the learning environment.
    • The job provides responsibility for exam materials – report books, evaluation records, class register, record book, lesson note books, record of work, schemes of work.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

    • Implementation of integrated curriculum.
    • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting student’s progress.
    • In charge of school weekly duties.
    • Classroom management. 5. In charge of class co-curricular activities 6. Pastoral Care, Discipline, Guidance and Counseling
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications & Experience

    • Degree or Diploma from Kenya National Examination Council.
    • Registered with TSC
    • Must have solid training in teaching Competence Based Curriculum (CBC).
    • Relevant teaching experience.
    • Proficiency in English & Kiswahili; both written and spoken and technologically savvy.

    ECDE Teacher

    OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

    • The position is responsible for teaching and offering holistic development, proper discipline, appropriate skills and social abilities to enable optimum development of pupils.
    • The position provides responsibility for exam materials – report books, evaluation records, class register, record book, lesson note books, record of work, schemes of work.

    • Ensure timely preparation of all professional records and they are always up to date.
    • Ensure consistent and appropriate use of Competency Based Curriculum Design
    • Learners’ Assessment
    • Classroom Teaching and Learners Involvement
    • Classroom Management
    • In charge of school weekly duties.
    • In-charge of class co –curricular activities
    • Pastoral Care, Discipline, Guidance and Counseling
    • A role model, mentor of other teachers and a guardian to pupils.
    • Conduct any other duties as assigned from time to time.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum of ECDE Certificate/Diploma from Kenya National Examination Council.
    • Registered with TSC.
    • Must have solid training and experience in teaching Competence Based Curriculum (CBC).
    • Proficiency in English & Kiswahili; both written and spoken and technologically savvy.
    • Must be willing to work in any of MOHI’s centers across the country.
