    Trade Liaison Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • To collect the required information and report to Head Office and Nairobi Office accurately & timely as may be assigned from time to time.
    • To engage in liaison, coordination and market research activities for Head Office’s Chemicals related projects and business with other Nairobi members, with the aim to:
    • Maintain and develop relationships with East African local industries and suppliers of Head Office, and by understanding their needs and capabilities,
    • Enable Head Office to trade chemicals and related items to East Africa,
    • Assist Head Office to promote chemical related items in East Africa, in order to maximize market access for already established manufacturers in Japan & other countries.
    • Analyzing the market, finding the potential customers and cultivating the relationship with them on behalf of Head office
    • Enable Head Office to estimate total available market and strategize how to penetrate in East Africa  
    • Coordination between the customers and HQ for their smooth trade transactions with the knowledge of the product information, market needs and customer’s requirements.
    • To identify, develop and communicate any new and emerging business opportunities to Head Office,
    • Other projects and duties as assigned by Nairobi and Head Office

    Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological sciences preferred
    • 2 years working experience 
    • Logical thinking, outstanding communication skills both oral and in writing
    • Outstanding business acumen, good in report writing and presentation
    • Flexible, good interpersonal skills for both office environment and business networking
    • Outgoing and culturally dynamic with ability to work in a multicultural environment
    • Good sense of sustainability of operations, activities and cost management
    • High integrity and understanding of compliance including IT security 
    • Good at mathematics and ability to use Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to prioritize tasks for good work management
    • Creative and good at problem solving with strong sense of responsibility 
    • Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
    • Good sense of time and judgement
    • Team player

    Social Media Executive

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Meet small and large farmers and shop owners across the country and create video content for social media 
    • Manage sales team to upload and share social media content Understand customer expectations according to industry online activity 
    • Develop social media campaigns 
    • Define KPIs and KRAs for social media campaigns 
    • Update social media content across all channels minimum 3 times per week 
    • Engage with customers and followers 
    • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer and Hootsuite (mention any social media marketing tool that you are currently using or plan to use) 
    • Monitor campaigns and analyzes data obtained 
    • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics 
    • Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network 
    • Develop content or get it done by content developers 
    • Keep an eye on social media trends 
    • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers

    Key Qualifications.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in BBIT, Advertising, Marketing or any other Business related field
    • 3 years of experience as a social media manager or a similar role
    • Prior experience as a content manager
    • Experience in creating social media strategies 
    • Experience in creating engaging content video photo and motion content branded 
    • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Organized and able to multitask.

    Field Service Technician

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with stripping, cleaning, testing, and building of Vacuum Pumps, Book in all pumps as per procedure when delivered on-site, and ensure that the Branch manager is informed of the delivery.
    • Ensure all spare parts are packed into shelves correctly when consignments are delivered from Europe, including pumps. 
    • Ensure the correct persons are notified when spare parts are delivered on-site and all the paperwork is given over.
    • Get spares ready for collection when required to do so.
    • Do regular spare stock takes and notify the Branch manager when re-order levels are reached.
    • When spares are removed from complete kits ensure that the kit is marked accordingly, and the Branch manager is informed that the spare needs to be replaced in that kit
    • You will be responsible for spray painting of all types of hardware on-site and will do so in a safe way which includes wearing a face mask.
    • Will be required to do the service center and field service work (Hands-on)
    • Conduct Vacuum Audits
    • Experience in on-site technical problem solving – must be solution orientated 
    • Customer Training on pump services
    • Must be able to implement company procedures, new policies, and procedures in the new service workshop/center
    • Must know and adhere to all Health and Safety requirements in the Workshop.
    • Must be able to liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner. He will be contacting customers to discuss fault finding and servicing of their pumps and to inform them when their pumps will be serviced/repaired and delivered back to the client

    Qualifications.

    • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering or other tertiary education that is acceptable for the job.
    • 3-5 years of experience working in a technical service workshop
    • Expert Mechanical & general electrical experience working on pumps and electrical motors
    • Must have a Driver’s Licence
    • Must have strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
    • Must be computer literate – advantage: Microsoft Office, Excel, and Pastel.
    • Must be able to work with people
    • Must be willing to learn more skills and do training
    • Must be able to complete a task in the reasonable and required time.
    • Must have a good understanding of stock and spares levels. 
    • Must be able to work as a team player
