    Receptionist

    Job Objective/ Purpose:

    Manage the reception professionally at all times and ensure that all visitors, patients and clients are accorded timely, professional and compassionate service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Welcoming and assisting patients with Registration, completing necessary forms and documentation, as well as ensuring that all information acquired is accurate and current.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Meal Preparation, Planning and Service
      • Cooking food according to the given recipes and menus using a range of methods (i.e. baking, braising, frying, roasting or steaming)

    In Charge Construction & Repairs

    Medical Officer

    Job Objective/Purpose

    NICU Nurse

    Job Objective/Purpose

    Adhere to Avenue Healthcare’s defined policies, protocols, procedures, and standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure proper inventory of the available equipment on a daily basis and ensure that they are in good working condition. Report any malfunction to Bio-Medical Technician/Unit Manager.
    • Ensure the unit is financially viable and demonstrate growth through;
      • Offering quality care to patients and ensuring good working relationship with our stakeholders
      • Ensure financial objectives are met by managing costs within budget, timely and accurate billing of drugs and services. Ensure an invoice rejection rate of < 3% by ensuring that proper pre-authorisations and documentation has been done.
    • Ensure that Avenue corporate governance policies are adhered to. 
      • Prevent, detect and report any fraud or criminal activity
      • Liaise with the Nurse in charge to fully implement internal audit recommendations and attain satisfactory ratings in subsequent audits.

    Theatre Nurse

    Job Objective/Purpose

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintaining Theatre list
      • Correctly book patients for surgical procedures 
      • Ensure surgeon / anaesthetist are informed of bookings or changes in time
    • Receiving Patients 
      • Checks completeness of theatre checklist and act appropriately

    Transport Co-Ordinator

    Job Objective/Purpose

    • The Transport Coordinator will lead, manage, and optimize all transport services, ensuring timely, safe, and reliable operations.

     Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee and manage all hospital transport operations, including emergency and ambulance services, ensuring 24/7 readiness and swift response times.
    • Supervise outsourced courier services and ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
