    Risk Management Officer- Service Delivery Unit

    Duties and responsibilities;

    • Studying statistical data to create an analysis;
    • Creating estimates of probability and likely costs for a given event;
    • Calculating how insurance policies for different types of coverage are likely to pay out;
    • Collaborating with other financial professionals, including economists, accountants andfinancial advisors;
    • Generating charts, models, tables and other tools to represent any conclusions;
    • Analyzing reports to assist in decision making;
    • Creating solutions to reduce financial risks
    •  Any other duty assigned by the supervisor

    Requirementsfor the appointment

    • Degree in Actuarial Science or statisticsor any other related field from a recognized University
    • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

    • Will be in charge of the secretariat of the Governors Delivery Unit (GDU);

    Duties and responsibilities;

    Duties andresponsibilities

    • Develop, review, andensure implementation ofguidelines on the establishment and abolition of offices/ posts in the Public Service;

    Qualificationsfor appointment to this position

    • Higher National Diploma inHuman Resources Management

    Accountant I

    Duties andresponsibilities;

    • Perform accounting operation in accounting unit or department.
    • Verification of vouchers and committal documents in accordance with laid down rules and regulation, data capture, maintenance of primary records such as cash book, ledgers, vote book, registers and preparation of simple management reports e.g. imprest and expenditure returns etc.;
    • Responsible for the safe custody of government records and assets

    • Knowledge of IFMIS will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of Public Sector Financial Reporting Format is necessary.

    • Possess good oral and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
    • Should have good attention to detail and good relationship management skills.
    • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the constitution.
