Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Prospecting
• Identify and qualify new sales leads across industries (corporate, lifestyle, entertainment, NGO, etc.)
• Research market trends and competitor activity to spot opportunities for D&R Studios offerings.
• Client Engagement
• Schedule and attend client meetings, prepare sales decks, and support pitch presentations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular followup, updates, and checkins.
• Sales & Pipeline Management
• Maintain and update the CRM/database with client details and sales progress Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts in collaboration with the Business Development Lead.
• Campaign & Activation Support
• Collaborate with the creative and production teams to ensure smooth onboarding of clients and project execution.
• Provide postsales support and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
• Reporting & Admin
• Provide weekly reports on leads, meetings, sales conversions, and revenue impact.
• Track performance against monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership:

• Financial Planning & Analysis:
• Develop and execute the financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning to support the company's growth and operational needs.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Ensure financial reports and statements comply with IFRS GAAP, local regulations, and statutory requirements in Kenya.
• Risk Management:
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including those related to banking and taxation, to safeguard the organization's assets and reputation.
• Capital Management
• Oversee capital structure, manage cash flow, and maintain banking relationships to ensure optimum working capital and liquidity.
• Operational Oversight:
• Cross-functional Leadership: Supervise and coordinate activities across Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Administrative Services, Legal, and associated support functions.
• Process Optimization: Implement and refine policies, systems, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and financial integrity.
• Vendor and Contract Management: Oversee negotiations and management of service providers, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• BA in Finance or Accounting
• A Master's degree (MBA) and/or professional certification (CPA) is highly desirable.

Professional Experience:

• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within a mid-sized organization or within the media/digital content industry.

Technical Competencies:

• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, IFRS GAAP compliance, and strategic oversight of complex organizational functions..
• Hands-on experience in banking, taxation, and company valuation applications in investment or lending contexts.
• Excellent command over financial systems, ERP implementations, and IT infrastructure management.
• Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and risk assessment tools. Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership, board members, and cross-functional teams.
• A proven track record of managing change and driving performance improvements in dynamic environments.
