Overall, Purpose of this role
The holder of this position supports the programs team in administrative and logistical arrangements in order to ensure teams are able to discharge their duties in a timely and effective manner. The assistant is the bridge between programs and finance for procurement and other finance needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide programmatic and administrative assistance in support of planning and implementation of activities/processes for highly complex functions performed by the respective program teams.
- Assist in the coordination of activities, meetings, workshops, etc by taking lead in providing logistical support to the Programs team
- Support in the proposal development administrative aspects including taking necessary action to ensure documents are completed and submitted to relevant parties for approval within the set timelines.
- Support the MERL Officer in ensuring that reports meet the set requirements, guidelines, rules, and procedures including programmatic documentation of meetings including members' meetings.
- Prepare, maintain, and update the department’s files (electronic and paper) and internal databases;
- Support in general administrative roles in collaboration with the administrative assistant
- Manages the Programs department procurements in adherence to the set workplans and budgets, procurement plans and the organizational Finance and Procurement policy
- Fund requests & Accountability – Program-related requests & accountability of activity impress for the programs team
- Support the Executive Director’s Office with programmatic-related administrative roles including fund requests and accountability
- Maintaining the department’s inventory including IEC materials/project-related merchandise
- Undertake any other relevant office errands/duties assigned to them.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- A minimum diploma/higher in either of the following fields: - Logistics, Administrative, Community Development, project Management. A degree on the same will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Experience working in the health NGO space
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational, planning and management skills.

Overall, Purpose of this role
The HR Officer will ensure that staff access timely and quality HR services. This role reports to the Finance and Administration Manager with occasional interaction with the Executive Director advising her on staff and HR-related issues and conflicts. The Human resource Officer will support the FAM in the day to day running of the administration and procurement units.
Duties and Responsibilities
Human resource and Administration
- Organize and coordinate the recruitment, minimum supervision.
- Process contracts and tracking the same for timely renewals as per policy.
- Ensuring employees’ payroll data is up to date, statutory requirements are complied with and monthly payroll changes are communicated to the FAM ahead of the payroll processing.
- Update and maintain the HR information systems as assigned.
- Support audit process by providing data as demanded and directed.
- Support management of the staff probation process.
- Work closely with FAM in preparing staff separation documents for settlement
- Coordinate the performance management process and communicate capacity gaps from the process to the relevant team leads.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources management, or business administration
- A higher diploma in Human Resources from an credited institution IHRM membership
- Minimum three (3) years relevant working experience preferably in an NGO setting.

Overall, Purpose of this role
The Regional Program Associate will be responsible for coordinating activities in their designated region, focusing on Health CSO coordination, engagement with key stakeholders, data synthesis for informed decision-making, and involvement in policy review, development, and implementation. The role also includes driving evidence-based advocacy efforts.
The primary objective is to enhance health outcomes by effectively implementing the Primary Health Care (PHC) policy and advocating for increased domestic health resources at both the county and national levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Health CSO activities in the assigned region:
- Convene Health CSOs and other key stakeholders at the county level to promote health advocacy and facilitate data-driven decision-making for effective Primary Health Care (PHC) and increased Domestic Resource Mobilization for Health.
- Coordinate and facilitate the participation of Health CSOs in various health forums at both county and national levels, in collaboration with HENNET’s national office.
- Monitor the implementation of county-level activities, ensuring Health CSOs are engaged and represented in decision-making processes at the sub-county and county levels.
- Assist in conducting capacity gap analyses and provide support to Health CSOs in joint fundraising efforts, in coordination with HENNET’s national office.
- Engage with duty bearers and stakeholders to promote health sector improvements.
- Oversee the engagement of county-level Health CSO leaders with key duty bearers, including Governors, County Executives, and County Assemblies, to ensure evidence-based advocacy efforts are prioritized.
- Analyze and synthesize data to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Foster partnerships between HENNET’s county chapters to facilitate the exchange of information and best practices.
- Contribute to policy review, development, and implementation.
- Lead advocacy efforts grounded in evidence to improve health outcomes.
- Support Grants Management
- Collaborate with the grants team to oversee the implementation of activities aligned with approved grant applications.
- Supervise HENNET sub-recipients and oversee PHC advocacy projects to ensure successful execution.
- Monitor the implementation of county-level activities, ensuring Health CSOs are engaged and represented in decision-making processes at the sub-county and county levels.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by HENNET leadership.

- Experienced in developing health advocacy objectives and influencing tactics.
- Excellent skills in developing policy and advocacy brief preparations and report writing.
- Must be living and operating at the county within any of the identified HENNET Regional blocs
Desirable:
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, plan and implement strategic initiatives within the context of health sector and/or other related fields.
- Experience in Primary Healthcare and one disease vertical such as RMNCAH+N (Reproductive Maternal Neonatal Child Adolescence Health and Nutrition), HIV/TB and Malaria.
