Responsibilities:
Digital Communication:

• Develop and execute digital communication strategies for assigned projects.
• Craft compelling content (website copy, social media posts, blog articles) to engage target audiences.

• Stay up-to-date on digital marketing trends and best practices.

Marketing Communication:

Project Management:

• Work closely with project teams to understand communication needs and objectives.

• Manage communication tools and platforms to ensure efficient information flow.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing and/or project communication.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles (SEO, SEM, social media marketing)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and all social media platforms.
• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities:
Design and Planning:

• Develop detailed designs for irrigation systems including drip irrigation, sprinkler systems, rain hose systems and surface irrigation.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the most suitable irrigation solutions.
• Create blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings for irrigation projects.
• Manage a team of junior technicians

Installation and Implementation:

• Oversee the installation of irrigation systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Provide technical guidance and support during the installation process. 

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Develop maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure the optimal performance of irrigation systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to irrigation systems, including leaks, blockages, and equipment malfunctions.
• Perform regular inspections and repairs to maintain system efficiency and longevity..

Research and Development:

• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in irrigation engineering.
• Conduct research and field trials to test new irrigation methods and technologies.
• Provide recommendations for improvements and innovations in irrigation practices.

Training and Support:

• Train farmers and field staff on the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
• Develop training materials and manuals for irrigation system users.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing irrigation systems.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation methods, technologies, and equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Familiarity with soil science, hydrology, and water management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
• Certification in irrigation design or water management.
• Experience with IoT and precision agriculture technologies. (added advantage)
• Knowledge of local agricultural practices and climate conditions in Kenya.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend infrastructure for IoT solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets the technical requirements of our IoT projects
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to implement and test IoT functionalities
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues to ensure the smooth operation of our IoT applications
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in IoT development to continuously improve our backend infrastructure
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of backend services on cloud platforms.

Requirements:

• Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
• Familiarity with backend frameworks like Flask, Django, Spring Boot, or Express.js
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
• Experience working on IoT projects or applications is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team, towards achieving the set customer leads and sales targets allocated within the assigned region.
• Monitor and push for sales closures by the team per the set sales targets.
• Establish a rapport with partners and clients to ensure that they understand Irri-Hub Ke products and act as Irri-Hub Ke brand ambassador
• Collaborate with partners in field activities including but not limited to farmer events like ASK shows, market storms, door-to-door visits, and road shows to promote Irri-Hub Ke products and services
• Work closely with the Business Development team to facilitate weekly check-ins with potential clients and partners.
• Support the sales cycle process for acquired customers by ensuring that timely dispatch and installation is done.
• Contribute to enhancing customer experience for Irri-Hub’s customers by promptly reporting arising after-sales issues to ensure service and brand strength.
• Training field agents, agro-dealers and customers on Irri-Hub’s products

Qualifications

• A minimum of a diploma in a relevant field. A degree is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in a sales role in the agriculture sector
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota
• Strong leadership abilities and outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think and plan strategically, plan, manage, and act to achieve set outcomes.
• Ability to work under high pressure and meet set targets
• Independent thinker with proactive decision-making capabilities
• Experience working in a dynamic environment
• Effective organization and time management skills
