    Receptionist

    As Receptionist, you will handle administrative tasks including but not limited to providing a conducive and welcoming work environment that maintains the organization’s corporate image whilst contributing to its growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage administrative activities to ensure the office is running smoothly.
    • Coordinate travel and transport requirements for KOKO team and visitors.
    • Organize to courier documents from office to office to other organizations, including confidential handling of sensitive HR and legal Items.
    • Helping to keep track of inventory levels to help determine replenishment needs.
    • Assist walk-in visitors and customers to learn more about KOKO and access our services.
    • Deal with third-party correspondence, queries, and complaints, escalating as appropriate for resolution.
    • Ensure KOKO staff and visitors are equipped with required company items, including staff badges, gate passes, vehicle passes, and parking stickers.
    • Set a positive atmosphere for staff and guests.
    • Coordinate KOKO Kitchen operations, including purchasing of food and materials.
    • Oversee cleaning and maintenance of the office to maintain the highest possible office conditions and arrange routine maintenance and repairs as appropriate (including generator, air conditioning, water dispensers, and pest management).
    • Coordinate with the Legal department to ensure compliance with workplace certificates.
    • Coordinate with the Safety team to ensure the health and safety of staff while in KOKO offices.
    • Safeguard company assets by maintaining log of office items taken off-site by teammates.

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • University degree in related field.
    • Proficiency in Google-Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
    • Detail oriented, highly organized, with superior problem solving-skills.

    Finance & Strategy Associate

    A new role in a strategic team at the heart of KOKO, this primarily entails analysis of new business opportunities, whether related to Expansion, New Product Development or ad hoc tasks for the fundraising process. It also involves supporting the development and execution of business strategy for both existing and new markets that KOKO intends to expand in. This will involve cross functional collaboration with people based in multiple locations across Africa & India.

    Responsibilities

    • Building and updating country and corporate financial models and forecasts in order to aid expansion efforts.
    • Provide supplementary analyses for various stakeholder related processes; including for investors as well as tax and regulatory compliance purposes.
    • Engage with the new product development team and develop and run business cases for new projects.
    • Support management in planning for the execution of the business strategy including partnerships with key stakeholders (agents, fuel wholesaler, banks and tax authorities)
    • Analyze company financial performance and unit economics to identify opportunity areas.
    • Building and maintaining dashboards for business and financial reporting.
    • Financial analysis support for other business departments.
    • Support with cash flow modelling and forecasting across the group.
    • Support management in the group level Strategic planning and Financial analysis processes.

    Requirements

    • Excellent track record of academic, professional, and/or personal achievements.
    • Minimum 2 years in a high performance, data heavy environment (Consulting, Banking, Investments, Finance, Technology)University degree required in a numerical field.
    • Expertise with financial modeling and data analysis.
    • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect across cultures.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
    • Strong affinity for new technologies.

    Fuel Quality Assurance Assistant

    As a Fuels Quality Assurance Assistant you will be making reference to laid out standards and policy to ensure that we deliver quality fuel into the network.

    Responsibilities

    • Calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
    • Fuel quality monitoring, analysis and reporting.
    • Periodic KOKO consumer hardware performance testing.
    • Ensuring the fuels testing laboratory is taken care of perform periodic inspection checks for product compliance in the network with set standards.
    • Ensure safety of the work environment during quality checks.
    • Test products as per KOKOLabs procedures and reporting.
    • Participate in the fuels receipt with representatives of our fuel partners.
    • Participate in sourcing and replacement of the lab equipments on need basis.

    Responsibilities

    • Degree in Chemistry related field (chemical engineering, pure chemistry, Industrial chemistry)or its equivalent.
    • Good analytical skills.

    Sales Representative - Nakuru

    As Customer Sales Representative, you will drive KOKO’s growth in business volume and profitability by selling KOKO Cookers and leading sales activities in assigned neighborhoods. You will meet with potential household and kibanda customers to understand their cooking needs and pitch them on KOKO's superior solution, as well as organize and attend sales and marketing activation events to close further sales.

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate the benefits of the KOKO Cooker and pitch it to potential customers
    • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for KOKO Cooker and KOKO Fuel sales
    • Use KOKO sales tools to record customer details and report daily sales activities
    • Act as a brand ambassador during field activations events and routine sales activities
    • Communicate openly and honestly with KOKO customers throughout the sales process
    • Build, manage, and maintain strong, positive customer relationships
    • Escalate customer queries and issues to management, as appropriate

    Requirements

    • University degree or equivalent
    • Previous sales experience, preferably with consumer goods or durables

    Field Operations Team Leader - Mombasa

    As Team Leader, you will coordinate all field team’s activities and provide visibility on the same while ensuring highest HSE standards are maintained.

    Requirement

    • Coordinate with the quality team and our fuel partner(VEK) to ensure stock availability at the stations.
    • Report, escalate and follow up on all field, hardware and software related incidents.
    • Provide feedback on the KOKO technology used by the operators and identify areas of improvement.
    • Monitor in conjunction with the fleet team the performance of company owned Micro tankers.
    • Lead and Mentor operators and assistants on existing technology improvements, KOKO maintenance activities, quality, safety and incident management.
    • Supervise the roll out of new last mile hardware; stations and micro tankers.

    Responsibility

    • Minimum higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations or engineering related field.
    • 1+ year of hands-on experience in an operations environment.
    • Ability to adapt in a highly technological environment - highly proficient with android smartphone technology.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent knowledge and use of google sheets or Microsoft office.
    • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.
    • A good understanding of the basic traffic rules.
    • A good understanding of HSSE procedures in the petroleum industry will be an added advantage.
