    Post of Lecturer, Nursing - Critical Care and Nephrology

    Person Specifications:

    • An earned Ph.D. or equivalent Doctoral degree in Critical Care and Nephrology, Nursing Education, Mental Health & Psychiatry Nursing or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University;

    OR

    • Hold a Master’s degree in Critical Care and Nephrology, Nursing Education, Mental Health & Psychiatry Nursing or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University with at least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or in research or in industry;
    • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited and recognized University;
    • A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers;
    • Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya and have a valid practice license;
    • Proficiency in computer applications;
    • Progress towards completion of PhD will be an added advantage.

    Post of Driver – Grade III/IV

    REF: MNUC/HR&ADMIN/TS/001/2026
    Person Specifications:

    • Cumulative service period of three (3) years’ relevant work experience at the grade of Driver I/II, or in a comparable position;
    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) mean grade D (plain) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution;
    • A valid driving license (Classes D2 and D3);
    • Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized and accredited institution;
    • Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution;
    • Certificate in Occupational Trade Test Grade III for Drivers;
    • A refresher course for drivers lasting not less than one (1) week every three (3) years from a recognized and accredited institution;
    • A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police;
    • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Method of Application

    TERMS OF SERVICE

    Employment for all the above teaching positions will be on permanent and pensionable terms. The appointed candidates will be remunerated as per the Inter Public University Councils Consultative Forum (IPUCCF) and 2021- 2025 CBA approved salary rates.
